Very different cars ! Would say the Exige is more extreme and the 4C more characterful, Italian and also cheaper to run!

Exige S3 is streets ahead of 4C in performance terms; it’s a raw beast & is far more super car in performance. 4C is more A110 than Exige.

Our 4c has had the suspension modifications to help solve some of the issues but it’s still a handful. Can’t imagine what they are like standard! Ed is loving his Exige! You can’t get more of a pure driving experience

@ Ours had all the suspension mods too. Some improvement but replaced with Exige that’s just a class act. Never looked back.

Did you replace with an s2 or s3 out of interest? I think an s3 might tempt me out of the 4c!

Completely stock! The start up was exceptionally loud as was a fairly cold start and it resonated massively off the walls of the garage. Sounded good though! 🤣 Hope you enjoyed it!

Awesome that you’ve owned from new! What tyres are you currently running out of interest?

@@NaturallyAspirated Goodyear Asymmetric 6. They aren't so outright grippy, but are very progressive. As a motorcyclist that's important to me. Plus they are head and shoulders better in the wet. I have nearly span 3 times on wet roads. Once in France, where I was total passenger heading for the big ditch on an "N" road. Luckily the lip curb saved me.

@@NaturallyAspirated BTW, they stop the scrambling for grip, and tramlining. I do have KW coil over suspension all round.

I have to agree about the p zeros being useless in the wet after a very rainy track day.! I find in the dry they are quite grippy when warm and the road is smooth enough. I think I’ll go Michelin when it’s time to replace. How do you find the coilovers?

@@NaturallyAspirated The coil overs are very good. But I always thought the standard suspension was quite competent. I am not a track day person. Every time I have motor raced, I have been (very unfairly) black flagged, as I believe in the Senna saying, "if you stop going for the gap, you're no longer a racing driver". And the footage of the Nuremberg ring scares the s*** out of me. Driving ability isn't as high as one would hope! The Asymmetric 6's are truly excellent tyres. The never ending search for grip can be counter productive.

@@NaturallyAspirated Michelin pilot sport cup 2…they car had the original Pirelli tyres on and in honesty I think the rubber had gone hard (plenty of tread but struggled with traction in anything other than perfectly dry conditions) I got talked into changing them and I’m so glad I did, I’d go as far to say they are confidence inspiring over the originals

Cup 2s are high on my list when I come to replace! How do you find them in the wet out of interest?

@@NaturallyAspirated they can still let go when under hard acceleration but I’d say pretty good….but the car is a bit of a garage queen when the weather turns snotty (am I allowed to admit that?)

I think at 6’4 you may struggle.. I’m 6’2 and have the seat all the way back and still feel a little cramped.
