lmao "Anime profile picture one tap demons". Thought I was the only one who noticed how many people have anime pics on their steam profile. So strange to me. Threw me off on CS for sure. Just getting back into it, so I'm sure I'll come across like 20 per day minimum. Interested to really see again now.

Slowing down and learning how to take corners have taken me from 15 kills a game to 30. Mechanics are so important

if you get fucked in a game and don’t get many kills but use utility well. That can be beneficial as hell to your teammates and possibly win you the game :)

nice vid, another good one is just simple comms. Sometimes random teammates literally don't use their headsets (it seems), but other times, simply comming where you hear someone, how many, or where you died from, will greatly help less-aware teammates to react more quickly. This can be the difference between winning or losing a round. So many teammates will just silently die, leaving you on the opposite bombsite with no idea that 4 T's just walked out of the other site, which is beyond frustrating

"We can do a lot better than the constant cycle of burning out completely, quitting for 6 months out of frustration, and coming back to do the same fuckin' thing." I went through this for 6 years with StarCraft 2, always 5-12 wins away from grandmaster (closest cs parallel would be faceit 9 or 10). This last year, I decided I wouldn't step back from frustration. I got hit with the frustration and stopped grinding games, and studied instead. My replays, of pros, pro vods. Took notes, back to it with only those in mind. About 4 months after I would've normally backed off - i got it. I've always studied my games, and better players. The only difference is the reason I was playing, and where the focus was. Having the goal of winning doesn't yield results. You win by being a better player, not by pouring more of your willpower and self worth into a given match.

Honestly the biggest tip is literally just consistent practice and playing. If you play 4-8 hours a day with an hour of dm / aim training your skills will sharpen daily. Also you learn way more and it actually sticks.
