The og mudboss is like your open modified. Where the traxxas modified is like your 358 or sportsman class. Both awesome just different. I definitely think there's room for both and it just makes it so much more fun

For the life of me I can't get my VXL - 3S to calibrate....blinks green and yes steering is set at 0 and battery is fully charged ???? Called Traxxas and the guy I talked to said its because I'm using and aftermarket remote, I then told him I have 2 bl-2s setups and didn't have any issues setting them up with my aftermarket remote "he wasn't helpful at all" Any thoughts ???

Wish I had one of these close to me the closes one is over 100 miles away😢

Hi, I have a slash 2wd and my spur gear keeps stripping. Because it seems that the gear mesh isn't the same when i turn the spur gear. At some spots its perfect so i turn the spur gear to see if the mesh is good everywhere but there is allways a spot that is to tight i already tried to fix the issue by changing the motor because i tought it may had a bend shaft but it only made it slightly better. Then i changed my spur for a metal one same thing happened it worn-out on one side.After i changed the slipper shaft because i also suspected it to be bent but the issue was still there and finally i changed the transmission case and the issue is still there. Can someone help me plz i am so tired and getting irritated because i spend some much time and money by trying to fix it but it doesn't work. Thank you.

Hey guys great and simple video. I have a question. I have. Traxxas slash truck and for some reason my controller that steers the car now controls the throttle. Don’t know what I did. But if you have ever seen this and have a solution that would be greatly appreciated.

I wish we had turned a old indoor roller skating facility into a rc track and have oval and road clurse hnique surface conpared to carpet andote challenging going from carpet to this surface is a good challenge for a seties to test drivers setup and driving abilities. I have raced 1/4 scale oval nascars and 1/4 scale f1 cars at a amusement go kart track lark where its for tourists and has 3-4 different go kart tracks well they shjt it down and would host rc racing once a month and kt was a balst especially on the oval cause jt drove like a 1/4 mile short trsck lile if ot was full size racecars that track would be a 1/4 mile track so really good shoet track racing two and three wide woth bumps and rins and had some nice banking and for the 1/10 scale oval rc cars it was like a super speed5aith dragting and all especially on the fastest class called super mod which ks a super latemodel style body its like a older 2005 cup car and super latemodel body if they was combined thats what it looks like and pan car chassis witha really fast brushless motor setup cause we have no motor or esc rules and can run a 2s lipo battery but have a gear rule for the series and coild only run one of the 6 designated gear ratios amd gear sizes specifified in the rules and it was both gears had a size rule with 6 different gear sizes. Ghen for the road course stuff we ran the 1/4 scale f1 cars on the massive road course and it was awesome cause it was so big it felt more realistic then the super small 1/10 scale parking lot road courses we normally raced them at and the speeds was doubled averaging 55 mph woth the 1/4 scale f1 cars compared 10 10-15 real mph on the small parking lot tracks. And with the 1/10 scale road clurse cars we hauled the mail on thatassive track with the fastet class running top speeds of 95-100 mph down the long front stretch

best thing to do is tear the shocks appart remove the limiters, drill pistons to 1.7 run 25w oil and then they will rock and roll, THESE ARE NOT CRAPPY MUDBOSSES, these are acctual race cars that set up with a crossweight of a racecar. if you do mudboss setup crap with these your in trouble
