Getting "Eaker'd": Times when a Gymnast's Score was Lowered After an Inquiry

judging in gymnastics is always a subject of heated debate. gymnasts are allowed to submit inquiries (for $300....) to have the judges review the D score they originally awarded a gymnast if the gymnast thinks that the D score given was incorrect. however, judges CAN lower the D score from what they originally gave, which means the gymnast ends up paying $300 to only have their score decreased. in this video, I will detail multiple instances in which this exact scenario occurred, and explain how and why it happened. those instances include ones from Brooklyn Moors, Kara Eaker, and Jade Carey. i hope this video gives some clarity into the world of gymnastics judging, which is already very ...

Trinity Thomas scored the 5th highest AA score the sport has ever seen at the Florida/LSU meet (the only gymnast in recent years to score this high was Maggie Nichols)! In my opinion, she should've had two 10.000s on bars and vault, a 9.950 on floor, and a 9.950 on beam. Nonetheless, she definitely had the best performance of her collegiate career!
