Taking advantage of great weather (finally) on Jan. 26 - went riding at Broken Nut ATV and a bud conquered Bounty Hill on is KTM250sx.

Decided to take advantage of the great weather and start the year off riding my dirt bike. I went down to Outback ATV MX Park (Laurinburg, NC) and had the good fortune to ride with GNCC ranked Kiefer Galiano and his Dad. They are both ranked racers and were very patient with me through the wood’s trails. The video shows a bit of Kiefer working out on the MX track. Enjoy!

Nearly the end of 2024 and we went riding with friends and family down at Outback ATV Mx Park, Laurinburg, NC. It was the first time for myself and the 2 young men. The woods trails were in great shape, fun riding through the mud holes! ("sand" holes? - we didn't get into any mud).

Trails at Broken Nut Off-Road ATV Park are getting numbered. This video shows the map and the numbered trails 1 through 7. This is an ongoing process and we hope to have all the main trails numbered by Spring.

Riding BM OHV trails with a couple of good buds. We rode Trail 1 to 7, rode 7 then up 1B to and back down to Trail 9. We rode 9 to 10 and 1 back to the trail head. This vid shows a little bit of going up the newly groomed (thank you USFS) Trail 1, then all Trial 9 to 10, and 10 back to 1. Enjoy!

This video shows short clips from riding the opening days at Brown Mountain OHV (March 28th) and Uwharrie OHV (April 2nd). Met some great people at both locations, very disappointed that one of the major trails (Dickie Bell Trail 91) was closed at Uwharrie. I thought one of the reason's the National Forest Service closed the trails from Dec. to April was to do maintenance! The estimate is Dicki...

This was my first ride on my 2024 KTM 300 xc-w! Riding with my good bud Mark (Husk TE300i). This is us riding the very fun trail just behind the Office.

This was my first ride on Brown Mountain OHV Trail 1A trail. It was a great December day with temps getting up to 57 degrees. There were a lot of riders there, one of the last weekends before the Brown trails close for the winter. I was riding with my friend Kenny, a veteran rider at Brown - good friend, good trails, good weather - good time! (shot with Hero 9)

This video is me and Mr. M "descending" the mountain on Trail 6 from the end of Trail 7 to Trail 1 to the Trial Head. I filmed this with a GoPro Hero 9 while riding my 2014 KTM 300xc. Enjoy!

Riding Brown Mountain OHV Trail 7 - Single Track. This video shows full trail - not sure why Brown designates it as Black Trail - as you will see it is very tame - show be Green!

Mr M's first ride on TE300i at Brown Mountain. This is "climbing" the mountain on Trail 1 from the Trail Head to where Trail 1 turns into Trail 8, close to the upper end of Trail 1b. Weather was great for it being Nov. 19! I filmed this with a GoPro Hero 9 while riding my 2014 KTM 300xc.
