@@Will_JC Government for whom? Government of only myself, by only myself? Yes, I support that. Any other form of government, like when it is imposed from one person on another, is evil to me.

This is all so interesting! Which discipline does it all fall under? I want to learn more about it.

@@freyfaust6218 Thank you, I'll look it up for sure.
This is so interesting! Which discipline does it all fall under?
It's an adjunct to the Axis Syllabus. You can see our research here: www.axissyllabusforum.org
what you are talking about is precisely what is happening right now in the united states, europe, peru, bolivia, venezuela, nicaragua and elsewere. Every body is buying out the falacy of statism. Most people just do not see beyond the ilusion of false protection that a big all powerfull goverment can give them. They forget that by accepting the government aid they are selling out their freedom to choose and as you correctly say, they are becoming slaves of the state. Your video is awesome, thanks you very much!
Thanks for watching and for your positive feedback
*@Lucia Vanegas* So, how did you come across this particular video?
Just want to come to play with you all
So beautiful!!! Does the amount of whole body-leaning control the rhythm/speed? Leaning forwards - fast to running; Near vertical - slow and controlled; Leaning backwards - very slow, even walking backwards?
Hi Eli, thanks for considering this offering. Whole body lean and more forceful propulsory phases are factors. Efficient energy conservation involves minimizing but not eliminating deviations from the forward vector. Running backwards efficiently requires the same anteverted posture through the trunk as forward running however.
FASCInating precision, as always with Faust's.
thank you Eli! How are you?
Have you looked into the Rojava. And see A Democratic experiment.. if it’s still around. We might not agree on a few things but I found your video pretty enlightening. Rojava also has capitalism and business but while it was trying to grow. A lot of business was community run and leadership was done by committee. Also a male and female were heads of each leadership board. It was interesting experiment till they were abandoned after beating ISIS. www.rapidtransition.org/stories/rojava-in-syria-growing-local-democracy-and-defending-ecology-in-the-midst-of-conflict/
Area609Joe thanks for the reference. I am all for people getting together to organize a certain way. What I am sceptical of, is the attempt to force people to organize and therefore live a certain way. It follows that I am skeptical of isms altogether. There is a very successful tomatoe delivery company in the states where all members form a collective of entrepreneurs. Cooperatives, coalitions, corporations. The only thing I feel we should not allow or that we should probably inhibit are monopolies of any kind, whether in the so called private and so called political sphere.
@@freyfaust6218 I really loved your video. You have a healthy mind and you are not scared take a look through the glasses of different ideologies. But I have a question to your comment above - Why are free marked monopolies bad and something we should not allow? I know it's bad if it's a result of state interference... But then it's not a free marked monopoly. If a company is a monopoly on the free marked, it's because nobody can produce the service/product better and cheaper or come up with a new idea/concept. That is atleast how I think it works... But why do you think free marked monopolies are bad?
@@JCV123 hi and thanks for the compliment and interesting question. Monopolies of any kind can inhibit competition, as greater economic leverage allows the abuse of the justice system to sabotage innovators, the lure of bribes to buy out competitors, or finance and therefore own innovations. Greater financial leverage also comes with huge tax burdens. Political leverage comes when a monopoly is a major contributor to administrative salaries and infrastructure. New taxes and fees and regulations are gladly urged by those in the position to easily pay them, as they diminish the threat of upstarts.
@@freyfaust6218 Thanks 😊
@@freyfaust6218 I thoroughly and genuinely enjoyed your video! Thanks for posting! However, I disagree with your position regarding monopolies. Every monopoly that has ever existed was brought about by government. Monopolies are next to impossible in a free market. In theory, a free market monopoly COULD exist though. A free market monopoly may arise temporarily as a result of the corrupt actions of the monopoly's leaders but, this wouldn't last. A non-corrupt free market monopoly could arise but, only if the monopoly achieved 100% customer satisfaction. Since all human beings possess very different (and oftentimes mutually exclusive) wants and needs, I can't envision any company ever satisfying 100% of the market. Yet, for the sake of argument, let's say that a business were to achieve monopoly status in the free market by attaining complete and total customer satisfaction, ok? If this were to occur, and everyone were satisfied, why would be any problem at all? Businesses are supposed to satisfy their customers. You've got a great mind and I agree with nearly every other point you've made. I readily admit that I don't have a "monopoly" on the truth and that I may well be incorrect in my position. I'd really like to read your response on this subject.
it's incredibly sad this video only has ~500 views.... this is an excellent academic throbbing of the belief in Statism! Well done Mr. Faust!
Thank you for the encouragement!

super cool! thanks <3
As a body and movement practitioner I can say with certainty that this is one of the most brilliant things ever seen in this regard.
the same instruction for going to sit down on the floor would be also very helpful! for Asian countries, where all sit on the floor!
bellissimo
Is there volume to this video? Thanks!
I went back and forth on adding a soundtrack... maybe play your favorite chill music?
Interesting and creative that’s how I remember you and your still that way. I remember you doing “Mime” in Ben Lomond and walking up that mountain everyday with your sister as she played the violin. Been so long and those were the fresh days of youth. Those mountain memories seem like a different life, one I loved. Nice to see you again Frey. Are you in Santa Cruz? Sue Moreland 💕
Hi Sue, that is a fond memory, thanks for recalling it to me. I am no longer living in the states... not since 90 as a matter of fact. Home base is Berlin, but it looks like a shift is imminent. You?
I am in Calaveras County in California but I have been all over since I last saw you. Lived in Northern Florida which is where we went when I was 12. That sucked. From hippies to Okies. LOL Big difference. Did you come to Santa Cruz sometime around 2004ish? Thought I saw your name on a flyer at New Leaf Market in Boulder Creek.
For older folks who may tend to shuffle their feet it is important to teach heel strike and good dorsi-flexion of ankle to prevent falls. I mention this because in comment below I get impression that you are teach forefoot strike first?
Hi Robin, i am sorry you get that impression from this video... where do you see forefoot landings promoted? I think forefoot landings are appropriate for some situations but I don't think regular walking is usually one of them. I don't think there is a universal perfect step anyway. Any practice needs to be adapted to a specific context: terrain, shoes, injury, age, illness etc. Thanks for your comment
Frey Faust! Awesome Teacher this is shows It Brother 💋 #rocknrollgramma 🎵🌹🎬
Hey Frey, thanks alot for this valuable content! A friend of mine recently did a workshop with you in Berlin and told me that (somewhat contrary to this video) you taught toe strike in walking instead of heel strike. I was wondering what made you change your mind and also if you could point me to some resources about toe strike (or forefoot strike) that you found helpful. Thank you in advance! Hope you're doing great.
Hi Chiliam, I don't think I have changed my opinion... in this video I am specifically addressing regular walking on open, flat ground. Running, large or cross steps, climbing stairs and jumping are all best served through forefoot landings.
Hey Frey, thank you for your reply. I have come across different people also suggesting forefoot strike in regular walking. What do you thing of that?
Thank You Frey 4 All you’re help Thru these intense healing Journey 🎵🌹🎬 Especially this past months Finally i set dates for Neck Surgery A deep Bow & Curtsy 👍🌩🧩 🎵🌹🎬 4
I appreciate your content. I find it quite hard to acoustically follow your narration though. It would be helpful, if you could speak more slowly and possibly use a higher quality microphone. I also find myself having to split my attention between your narration and the visual information given (charts etc.) in those places they do not completely coincide, which contributes to the difficulty I have following you. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the encouragement and constructive criticism Chiliam!

Inspiring. Beautiful mix of photography, video, music and of course DANCING!
I've been blessed to take a few workshops with Frey Faust 20 years ago. This great video reminds me of those great times... The feeling provided by dancing his moves (or even some clumsy version of them!) is beyond words. Centering, body architecture, rotations, well-being, lightness, effortlessness (!?), meditation, wholeness... hardly begin to cover it. His axis syllabus system has been a revelation for me - still is. Besides he performs it with such a perfection that I can't get why it/he hasn't made a more major breakthrough in the dance world than among the lucky few who have come across his way?... And since I've just realised you are the uploader of this video, Frey: THANK YOU for all you taught me back then!
