I love this movie as a kid. Of course, some parts of it drags, but Ang Lee's Hulk was a drama disguised as a action, hero movie. Very compelling stuff. Eric Banner really got robbed of a chance for something interesting.

We call it Norton's Hulk, we call it Ruffalo's Hulk, why doesn't anyone call 2003 Hulk Bana's Hulk as he played the protag? Aang Lee was the guy who gave the 3D team the best movements for the Hulk 3D render.

To be honest, with so many “comic book” movies coming out that barely feel like the comic books that they are adapting and being made by people that don’t care about comics Ang Lees Hulk is honestly a underrated gem of a movie, you can tell it couldn’t care less about looking stupid or having goofy elements because it cared about the comics and it was made by people who loved them.

Hulk was my favorite as a kid in the 80s and still is. I agree Ang Lee's Hulk is my favorite version. I never understood all the criticism. I enjoyed getting to know Bruce's background and what it really meant to become the Hulk.

What happened to The Hulk? They dumbed him down to appeal to the lowest possible denominator. Namely the idiots who think that superhero movies are supposed to be goofy affairs akin to Deadpool where EVERYTHING has to be made into a joke even at the expense of the dramatic integrity of a scene

I always thought that the 2003 Hulk was really unique and underrated. I would have loved to see Ang Lee make another comic book movie.

I loved this movie but so many people I knew told me that it was a terrible movie. It seemed like anytime I brought it up people said this movie was horrible for some reason and it just became taboo to talk about at all, as if people wanted to forget that it existed. I wanted to see more Hulk smashing stuff.

Hulk is one of my favorite movies ever, superhero or not. Emotional, visceral, and well written. My only problem is the special effects, which is what turned a lot of people off the movie entirely from what I remember. I'd love to see a re-release with the only change being to the CG, but considering how it bombed, I'm not holding my breath for that to ever happen.

2003 hulk was the best they should continue that one. I don't like the 2008 or all others because their essent is not pure like the one from 2003.

In End Game, when hulk was scared to come out during the final confrontation, it felt a bit insulting. Not because hulk was scared; they could have made that work, with Thanos being literally the only time in his existence that someone was able to not only stand toe to toe with him physically, but utterly dominate him. No, it was because it was insulting to fans, who wanted to see a Hulk v Thanos revenge match. Think of the hulk coming out after seeing his friends get brutalised, as even "puny" banner picked up an alien weapon and attempted to help out, and Hulk getting angry not at Thanos for beating him, but at himself for being too weak, too scared to help his friends, and then Hulk absolutely bursting out and while initially getting handled by Thanos, getting angrier at himself and what is happening to his friends, and gaining enough power to fight Thanos to a standstill, so that Thanos needed to use an infinity stone to temporarily remove Hulk from the equation. But no. We got what amounted to a comedy moment and then never saw the hulk again.

The 2003 was my dream hulk. The emotions and the struggle to remain human despite of all provocation is what makes Ang Lee's version and story telling my favorite, than the MCU's goofy version.

The reason we haven't got a solo Hulk movie since 2008 is...suits. In some weird, corporate stalemate, no one has the rights to make a Hulk solo movie, so he can only be a side-character. Yet, they figured out how to work out the Spider-man rights issues. Hell, they even made three movies about Alabama Man (aka "Steve Rogers - Agent of the CIA") and somehow expected people on other continents to accept him as the hero of the MCU. ("Surrender? You think this A on my head stands for FRANCE!?")

Hardcore Henry is the best movie ever made so far. OG Star Wars is the best franchise ever. Can't change my mind.

I just hope that in a future movie mcu hulk will somehow get so angry that the real hulk side takes control and makes him an even bigger and angrier version of mcu hulk which is something I´ve wanted since infinity war

love the 2003 rendition of the character hulk , the way i read it and desired it to be . the greener , more savage and much more tragic than you know version of hulk . not the big fan of any of the later renditions , and the absolute joke that mcu made out of him is horrendus . like many others and like you too my guy , i also waited for a redemeption of hulk in the endgame movie , but i was disappointed . the absolute belittling of the hulk tragic childhood and his fear of causing destruction when he loses control in the she hulk series completely enraged me . thank you for compiling most of my feeings in a video .
