This is extremely dumb, the server runs on your computer the whole time so you have to run their game too basically

Does anyone know if this works with modded versions of the game? Would the person have to have the same mod launcher as well as the same version to join? Or would they have to have the exact same mods too!

very unsafe to disable firewall, you can create a rule for you port that you want to forward in firewall settings

my issue was old mods in my mod folder. I had a bunch of old fabric and opti things. After deleting those it loaded up
