Every Stegosaurian, explained.
Stegosaurus is one of the most picturesque dinosaurs. It had plates lining it's back and spikes at the tip of the tail called a thagomizer. But Stegosaurus isn't alone in rocking this unconventional formation of osteoderms, in fact, it shares it with around 28 other genera in its group.
In this video, we explore the Stegosaurian group, and learn about, arguably, some of the most striking dinosaurs to ever exist. Listed one by one from based on their size estimate, from the smallest to the largest.

Tracing Whale Evolution: Origin of Cetaceans
Просмотров 24 тыс.3 месяца назад
Whale evolution is an enigma, it is a testament of the potency of evolution by natural selection, in shaping organisms to whatever ways the environment demanded. Just a century ago, no one would have guessed that whales were descended from a small deer-like animal. They underwent a drastic change from a racoon-sized land-dwelling animal to the biggest animal to have ever existed on the planet, ...
Every Tyrannosaurid, explained.
Просмотров 180 тыс.4 месяца назад
Tyrannosaurus rex is a name we're all familiar with, it's the most popular dinosaur and is most likely the one that introduced us to the wonderful world of paleontology. But do you know that T. rex isn't the only Tyrannosaur? Tyrannosaurus, Daspletosaurus, Gorgosaurus and others are all members of the Tyrannosauridae family. The Tyrannosauridae comprises of 18 genera of tetanuran theropod dinos...
Every Spinosaurid, explained.
Просмотров 509 тыс.8 месяцев назад
Spinosaurus, Baryonyx, and Suchomimus have something in common; they're weird, and they're also members of a clade known as the Spinosauridae (or spinosaurids)! The Spinosauridae comprises of 20 genera of tetanuran theropod dinosaurs, but some of which are no longer a valid taxon and some others have disputed validity. All 20 genera of those dinosaurs, however, are included in this video. Liste...

Holocene Extinction, explained.
Просмотров 15 тыс.Год назад
Holocene Extinction or Anthropocene Extinction, often referred to as the sixth mass extinction, is an ongoing global event characterized by a significant and rapid loss of biodiversity. It is primarily caused by none other than our own activities. Humans have modified the surface of the planet to suit our needs irresponsibly. Climate change, deforestation, habitat destruction, pollution, overfi...

Pyrenean Ibex: The Animal That Went Extinct Twice
Просмотров 10 тыс.Год назад
Holocene Extinction Episode 5: The Pyrenean Ibex The Bucardo or formally known as the Pyrenean ibex, was pushed to extinction by trophy hunters who hunted the ibex for their iconic, long, curved horns and the introduction of human livestock, which competed with the ibex for grazing area. Three years after the Ibex went extinct, however, the last individual of the species was resurrected through...
The Tragic End of the Great Auk
Просмотров 28 тыс.Год назад
Holocene Extinction Episode 4: The Great Auk The Great Auk or Pinguinus impennis is the equivalent of the penguins in the northern hemisphere, in fact, the early sailors who ventured far into the Antarctic seas in the southern hemisphere used the great auk's generic name "Pinguinus" to call the flightless birds there now formally known as "penguin" due to their similar appearance and probably b...
The Search for the Thylacine
Просмотров 44 тыс.Год назад
Holocene Extinction Episode 3: The Thylacine Tasmanian tiger or thylacine sightings have been frequently reported, in Tasmania and in Australia alike. The thylacine’s elusive nature combined with Tasmania’s vast wilderness allow for a possibility that the carnivorous marsupial still survives to the present day. Numerous searches and investigations tried to prove this optimism. However, it seems...
Why Sauropod's Nostrils Aren't So Obvious
Просмотров 17 тыс.2 года назад
Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, Argentinosaurus and many other sauropods are often depicted with nostrils high on their foreheads. It makes sense to assume this nostril position when looking at sauropod skulls, since their nasal openings are located on top of their skulls. But, having nostrils on the forehead offers no anatomical purpose to sauropods. A closer analysis into dinosaur skulls has figur...

Spinosaurus: The Controversy of the Aquatic Dinosaur
I mean that isn't how India looks like doesn't it.
To be honest, I would not believe that Nanotyrannus is it's own unique genus from the beginning, what the Paleontologist did since is different, but I believe that up until this time, that it is indeed a Juvenile Tyrannosaurus.
You should do every carcharodontosauridae next

At last, an evidence based, objective summary that is difficult to reject. The farm kills record stands out, the wild dog reference is seldom mentioned by the speculation cult. This is paralleled with the wild dog vs birds (& possibly other species) situation in New Zealand. And cats. Later, the stoat is effectively finishing the job wherever it thrives, which is most places with oxygen & food, apart from local ongoing effective pest control sites, mostly using 1080 poison.
😭😭
So just a bunch of made up ones that could just be only be 8

Before this i did not that t.rex was just a sub species
13:20 Armchair hypothesis: Manoeuvrability, not size or length, are the reason for Miragaia's extra vertebrae. Miragaia has a narrow, beaked mandibles already suited for selective feeding. It's possible that it is an adaptation to a particular kind of plant matter that grows in vegetation too dense for other herbivores of equal size. At least in the diagram you have created, in my view, that is enough of a height difference between the smaller and larger herbivores for it to have exclusive access to certain resources.
🔫
Your videos are goated as heck, respect to a man with excellent research

I wonder if they did the same thing that bears in Alaska do during salmon runs; they wait and compete in those areas for the spawning salmon full of eggs and such.

So... we're not going to meat those goals again, if we don't force people to change. At the very least through the means of sanctions, if not more.
