Replacing Air Operated Fan Clutch Friction Lining
Просмотров 3,5 тыс.5 лет назад
Hopefully this will save someone some hassle in the future, it's a quick and easy repair if you can find the parts. My truck was overheating, found a leak in the fan clutch's air line which caused it to partially disengage burning the lining. After the lining burned out the fan was basically free wheeling, you could stop the fan with a piece of cardboard with the engine running. 8mm socket on a...

Unloading Brush from Rear Mount Grapple Truck
Never stoned my poll saw. But that looks like a good way to try! Haha
I think I’ve worked with that crew before.
Does it look familiar? :P
It was hot, but it was a fun job!
Nothing like them 7015's
Biogenocid. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Guy operates like old people fuck
People run skidsteers like tard heads. I own multiple machines and would tell an operator to kick rocks if he ran my machine like that. All fun and games till u run a stick up in a hose or radiator and then ur down in the woods till u get a fix. Wen guy is fast and ligit there is no banging and klanging and the machine doesn't sound like it's going to die constantly. As Sade would say that's a smooth operator. Guys now days don't have feel just full throttle. Lol
Guy videoing was seeing chips coming out wildly lol
He did get an excellent perspective of them 😂
Nice looking set of forks!
I’m having the same issue. I think I burned my friction lining on my fan clutch on my 14 Freightliner m2. It tries to engage and disengage but it’s leaking air. Does the friction lining hold the air in?
No, the air components and the friction were separate items on my clutch.

Ted at Everything Attachments would be proud.
How much was it
I'm sure prices have changed over the last 3 years. It was somewhere in the mid to upper teens.
Nice grinder next time if you get done early go knock on some doors.....
How much would one cost configured like that?
Why you get rid of this strong loader?
where did you buy that grinder, been looking at them. I own a pressure washing business and do light tree removal and have been thinking about adding grinding to the menu. Anything I can do by myself is great!!
I bought it from the local (70 miles away) Bandit dealer.
just wondering how long did that stump take. thank you
Had to go back and look, the bottom right corner says 30x so the sped up portion is 30x regular speed, 2 seconds of video is 1m real time.
That’s the ideal set up right there! Kabota mini and a dump trailer. I’m looking to do a similar set up this summer 👍🏼
What size kubota is that
KX057-4
Man dont cut down trees we need them and hear all the birds sining they cant get anywhere to live if you keep doing that ):
What size is your trailer? I'm looking to do the same and what's the weight of your excavator? I bought a yanmar vio50 10,000 pound machine
That was a 20x8x4, the KX057 is 13klb.
So not a good purchase to do stump gringing as well as tree removal? Was looking as a 635 with a 37hp machine
I wouldn't use it for my primary stump grinder.
Can't the avant grind stumps?
That'd be pretty slow by comparison.
@@RutherfordConLLC slow but do able?
Sure, you could grind a stump with an angle grinder, if you wanted.
man the pine tree stumps i have down here in florida are much different than the ones ive been able to find on youtube... the ones here have a 10foot or more main taproot
Most have tap roots that get broken off.
I know this is an old comment but. I have to agree about the pines down here in the lowlands and the sandy soil. The Roots grow straight down and are the size of posts. They are a pain in the ass to get out of the ground. Oaks are easier to remove.
Now do that in a tracked skid steer
Amazing! A lot of this footage would be great for a science fiction movie. "The mechanical monster that devoured forests" Kind of like Christine or Killdozer or other motorized mechanical monsters.
do you like the rear mount more than a dump?
Given the choice, I wouldn't buy a dump for doing my normal tree work.
@@RutherfordConLLC interesting. at first glance it seems like a dump would be easier to unload. do you mind sharing some of your reasoning behind a rear vs a dump? easier backing into jobs then pulling out loaded?
A dump is easier to unload if you don't have to manage the yard after you've dumped. A rear mount unloads in to the consolidated pile. Unloading doesn't take long with the grapple. Being rear mounted gives you more area to work and less pretty paint to drop something on. Depending on what you're doing, a rear mount can pick up/carry something on tires easier than a mid mount (loading large stumps on to a flatbed trailer, for example). If the only downside is unloading, that's not much of a downside.
Rear mounts are much more common. They give you better range and the option to pull a grapple trailer. A good operator can unload brush and logs quickly. Small material such as soil and firewood sized material takes some time.
I have Svl95 running same ground shark. When you move the boom up or down quickly does it engage the cutter motor break momentarily?
I sold those machines a while back... from memory it wouldn't apply a brake (there wasn't one on mine), but it would cut power to the mower since the hydraulic flow was being diverted.
Okay makes sense. Thanks for the reply
YOUNG MAN, WHEN U ARE CLIMMBING UP PUT YOUR KUBOTA BUCKET FLAT ON THE GROUND , BECAUSE YOUR WAY WAS CRUVE YOUR BUCKET CLOSE , ONE DAY U GOING TO BUST YOUR ASS
How much tons !??
The machine weighed ~10klb.
Sweet unit !
How much did it weigh?
Check the description...
Is that like a 55 excavator?
Correct, it's a Kubota KX057-4.
When you are pulling the roots from the back of the tree, have you had any experience were the tree want to lean back towards you? I have the same setup and I need to pull trees near a ditch bank. Any advice you may have I would greatly appreciate it.
Pulling the roots will decrease the stability of the tree, the lean of the tree will dictate what you can get away with. I'd suggest starting where you can't hurt anything else and learn as you go. You can use another machine with a rope/cable/whatever to help control larger trees.
Best demonstration so far!
When you demo a house, do you have to remove the driveway?
It depends on what the customer wants.
I'm considering buying one...anything that yopu don't like about the machine? Any maintenance issues etc
It's a great grinder. I don't use mine very much as evident by the hours on the machine. If I get in a situation where I need another little grinder, this is still on top of the lift. I have it listed for sale fr $15.5k without the trailer, $16k with the trailer.
I’ve had one for a little less than a year. I’m a full time stump grinder. I’ve had mine in the shop a lot. Had a problem with the belt breaking over and over again. They had to put a different type of belt tensioner on it. I’m also having the muffler replaced for the second time. So, that’s an issue. Also, had a problem with the cylinder that the arm sets on. The bearding inside that cylinder had an issue because of some plastic part inside the cylinder. They had to replace it with a metal one. It’s a great machine when I don’t have it in the shop, but I’ve had some problems.
I would highly suggest ear protection before you suffer hearing loss.
@@bobbyherrington7233 Thanks for the info. Is any of that covered in the warrantee or out of pocket? I bought one 3 months ago...only did about 30 stumps... no problems so far maybe they corrected stuff on the later models?
Treeken LLC I’m hoping they did correct it. I’m supposed to get the new model soon. They said, a lot of the issues have been corrected. They ordered mine, but with this virus, production has slowed down. I’ll let you know how it is when I get it.
So for tree removal, you clearly prefer the ripper? I have to admit, I'm quite surprised at how much you did with that machine. I really thought it took 40,000 lb excavators to knock down trees. I had no idea. Great video.
Glad you liked it! It depends on the tree/situation, but the ripper is great if the tree is small enough to push over without having to dig down to undermine it.
Nice machine!
I would never let this guy run my equipment he’s a bull in a china closet.. what a ass just tracking over the trees like that
You sell nifty lifts? I’m trying to buy please call me 903 261 7636 Michael Wade
Good talking with you!
Tons of fun to watch the process in time lapse.
Chock your tires next time. Your transmission will thank you.
That was the most trees I've seen taken down on any video. Impressive!
That one had me sweating!!! Those wheel loaders are amazing.
Did he add weight to the rear of the digger
No, it's a stock KX057-4.
How do you like the Kobata and what did you do with the mustang
I liked it, no DEF like on the 95s now. I traded the Mustang for the SVL.
