My channel is about wildlife photography - starting from birds that I pictured and filmed in Israel to predators that I pictured anf filmed in Tanzania.

A male Houbara Bustard in a courtship dance, in which he puffs up his beautiful white breast feathers and starts running far, usually in a prominent place, all in order to find a mate. Usually the Houbara is very shy and difficult to see, both because of his great camouflage and because it takes a lot of patience to see it. During the courtship period it is a good opportunity to photograph the Houbara’s dance which is so special, and for many, many years it has been a small dream for me as a nature photographer in Israel to photograph the Houbara’s dance in the desert. I came across your video just now and was blown away with it. It really touched my soul. I live in the UK and we have them each year at a few of my local patches. I adore them. This year, I witnessed for the first time part of their mating ritual - this was at the end of the breeding season so the female wasn't interested but I held my breath watching the male strut towards the female with his head high, then lurching forward ... he then came back with a fish and paraded backwards and forwards to the female who was not remotely interested. It was just magical to see. In what country did you video them? Your stills are stunningly beautiful. Well done.

Great Crested Grebes are such elegant birds. You were so lucky to be there at just the right time. I saw a courting pair years ago, just starting to do the head movements, but when I tried to film them on my phone, even with zoom, they looked like tiny dots in the distance. Thanks for filming this, it's so wonderful to see the whole dance in detail.
