No one should ever want to be a hero in war. Heros die all the time and usually while getting plenty of others killed. For every Audie Murphy there's a thousand idiots who got turned into pink mist. These two idiots meeting their ignoble end in a pillbox probably saved the lives of an entire squad.

Ever hear "play stupid games, win stupid prizes"? Yeah, this is that in a nutshell. Pissed that they were essentially left for dead? They are in a combat zone. Any of them can die at any time. It's not Call of Duty. If you endanger fellow soldiers because of your stupid antics and are ALLOWED to get away with it, everything falls apart.
