The Manhattan Transfer - Walk In Love (acapella)
Wow, first time I’ve seen this concert, such a musical gift 🙏🏻
What a wonderful song, song by a gifted talent. This song has inspired me so much. To me, this song draws my heart to Jesus, inspires my faith, and gives me hope. I am 79 years old and have been lifted in spirit since I first heard it at 14 years of age.
From south spain this video shoot its so amazin n this american Group too 2024 spain music from past n animated videos was of da better tan music of da real present on my own n personal opinion greetings from South of spain,,,manhatthan transfer s foreverrrrr n dareal goodz music😊
My favorite video of the Manhattan transfer. Such great entertainers their music will be around for a long time.
Talk about the "Spice of Life" 😎👍🎶🎵
Manhatten Transfer were one of my father's favourite bands and played them in the car a lot. Like others who've commented here, they were a big influence for me too. I love the tightness and timing. Just superb.
There you go kids! This is how women sang back in the day, and very few in the last 20 or 30 years come close to the Tonal quality and amazing style of this gifted woman!
They were so amazing in their original line-up & OG material. I never liked tham as much after Laurel left & they stopped doing the OS tunes like these though TBH. Thanks for this upload though my friend bc it wasn't until I saw this performance & her Je voulais te dire que je t'attends performance on the 2 Ronnies YT upload I realised how amazing Laurel was. She was is probably the more gifted voclaist of the 2 ladies. But I love Janis too of course. And it was her/their rendition of Chanson D'amor when I was a kid in the 70s that made me a fan. Also Alan Paul here as Guido Banzini doing Gloria was mind blowing too.
Superman III vibes
Fabulous harmonies, luv this group ❤
Sore them at Ronnie Scott's in soho London brilliant
Great chorus and guitar solo 🎸 wicked
Poor Mary. She'd just spent the last six years at the forefront of a groundbreaking, innovative, cutting-edge show that changed the face of television forever, and then...this? She seemed to think the variety show had a future, and this wasn't even her last stab at it.
Unbelievable talent! Janis Siegel is by far one of the greatest Jazz singers since Ella Fitzgerald. Been a fan since Bodies and Souls LP (1983). I was a high school senior when this album came out. “Spice of Life” was and still is a kick ass tune, I blast their music every chance I get! Something about TMT’s music that puts you in a good mood.🎶
11:10 wow. just wow.
wow they put on a GREAT show.
Ohrwurm vom Feinsten ❤
My absolute favorite ❤❤❤ and I love the Video ❤❤❤
2024. I LOVE MY MOM FOR ALLOWING THIS MUSIC TO BE IN MY LIFE...

Nice song. Weird video.
This is wonderful x
This song was playing in the WTC mall
I had no idea Les from Hardcore Pawn was so talented.
Just heard this song for the first time at Serling fest 2024 in Binghamton NY. It’s great!
They could sing anyway. They got soul.
Awe - inspiring talent backed up by great arrangements , thorough rehearsal, a dash of spontaneity. The greatness of Manhattan Transfer.
Saw them in 1997, at the Oakdale Theater, Wallingford, CT., with David Sanborn. Great show.
Un regalo para los oídos.
Best harmonies ever. No other act got close. Remmancing in taunton to happy days in west mids.
Wow
63 still listening to one of my favorites from way back
I remember that song when I was a kid, it was one of my favorite songs from that album Brasil
Sina by Djavan. That's the original song.
Ding dong!!!!!!!
I watched their two concerts when they performed in Manila, 1981 and 1992. Classic, classy, sophisticated. Loved them! Those two concerts had Cheryl Bentyne. Thought Laurel in this video was Cheryl. Wow, she had a fantastic voice as well.
Such a burst of imagination in music videos of the 80's.
I miss them so much ..just brilliant
Style, rihthm and ironic... Just one word: wonderful...kisses from Italy 😘🇮🇹🤗
There was no better era for this song styling, and the Manhattan Transfer were top of the class. God, I miss them...
Just remember that this music is actually Brazilian, by Djavan. Its called "Sina", and Manhattan transfer did and adaptation.
Ridiculously reserved audience.
I don't think they had an audience. Just the camera, sound and the rest of thee crew.
Glorious voice, always.
Have to telling from south of Spain......they always are so very very AMAZIN AS REALLY TOO MUXH WIT MUSIC A LOT OF ATTITUDE HIGHLER LEVEL WIT THEIR MUSIC ... MANHATTAN TRANSFER ASSSS 4EVER !!! FOR DA REAL N GOODz music greetings from south of Spain!!!!!??
The following year they performed on the two Ronnies every week
Always loved Laurel's voice. It was the perfect mesh with Janis Siegel. Father liked the second incarnation of them as well.
How many of today's "musicians" will have careers that span 50 years? Most of them don't last 50 weeks!
Genial grupo. Irrepetibles. Gracias por compartirlo es un paseo por los años 70 seguramente de las mejores décadas de la música y estos muchachos lo demostraron Abrazo desde Montevideo Uruguay 🇺🇾♥️ viva la música
Sadly, Whistle Test couldn't exist today. Not enough variety to make it interesting! Just check out the list of bands who appeared, it's mind blowing!!
What a class act they are.
Original Cast🏆
I saw them as a kid on that tour in Germany, my Godfather took me along. Fantastic
