For me, the biggest truth on this video is that to make progress in any endeavour requires the willingness and practice of getting out of one's comfort zone. I learnt this truth years ago when I used to go jogging most days along the old dis-used railway track by Finsbury Park in London. When I pushed myself to the limit, after a few days I would find another level, and the previous level became easy. Of course this doesn't mean that one needs to push without settling in for a while into the new level. Life would not be very enjoyable if one were to be continually exerting oneself beyond the comfort zone. But once one has raised one's level, the only way to get to a higher one is to once again get out of the comfort zone. So, regarding weight loss and fighting the flab, when the scales remain the same for a couple of weeks it's a message that you need to reduce portion size, or increase activity level in order to make further progress, if that's what you want.

I'm a native New Yorker and I'm happy you found what you wanted but those apartments are so overpriced. I had no idea they were robbing people this bad in the city. My apartment is nicer, bigger, and a fraction of the cost of yours. I can't believe those apartments are over $3k and that tiny. Smh That is INSANE!!! You can get so much more for your money if you go to another borough. You guys could find something for $2k or less with more space and a better open floor plan than the one you chose. What's so horrible is that people eager to live in mid or lower Manhattan don't understand how dangerous and creepy it can be. Be well and be safe!

Hi hope you enjoyed Mexico and had fun with your boyfriend since once in a while everyone needs a break from work to relax and enjoy a piece of paradise especially the beach it’s so much fun to be at the beach also Mexico is where my parents are from but also if I ever get married in the far far away future this is on my list to where I want to go to for my honeymoon with my far far away future husband because it will be beautiful to enjoy married life and a break away from all the stress that was bought on due to the wedding but just enjoy alone time together and hopefully after the honeymoon we settle down and start our little family since we will both want to have kids but also I want to be a mother to my own kids since I will love them since they grew inside of me for 9 months and got to see them every time when it was the ultrasound and feel them move inside but also watch my stomach grow as the months went by

I did take the lesson route, because i really wanted to know what i was doing, because i started to learn myself but quicly discoverd i have no clue what i was doing and already was learning bad habits it seemed after one lesson. She gives me guidance, i'm learning techniques and theory and she teaches me how to practice. I pay about 100 euros per month for weekly lessons of 45 minutes, and she also graduated a good conservatory. I think that is really a fair price. 200 dollar per hour is just crazy! I really liked your video and i'm now subbed :-)

You should always try to negotiate the price if something has been on the market for over a week. Key word TRY because you never know until you do. Especially right now because the market is extremely stagnant. I recently negotiated on a place in lower Manhattan and the landlord took the rent down by $150/month and decreased my security deposit to only $1,000 instead of $3,500 because I have an excellent credit score

Don't spend $300 on lessons. That's a crazy rate. When I first started taking guitar lessons my instructor charged me $45 a lesson. I would advice taking lessons, but look into the Guitar Center, Sam Ash or Murphy's Music in NYC. I am sure they have instructors there. Music stores are always the way in my opinion. I always pick up my parts at Micro Center. I actually have one here in VA up in North. I picked up a GPU there a few years ago. Looks like you are adjusting well to the city. I will recommend at some point this summer. You need to take a weekend to head to Fire Island. Trust me you'll love it.

For learning music I feel like RUclips is very helpful, but you have to learn what you want to practice and learn. If you have some experience I recommend learning easyish songs you like to hear and also learning scales and chords. RUclips can teach you the techniques for getting faster with the scales

Curious, how much did you factor in for utilities? Looking at that unit, I’m wondering if heat is included or excluded from the rent?
