World record for being very naive about flight safety. Just a few, 1) you cannot see the drone at that height so you have no idea if you are in the flight path of a manned aircraft. 2) Drones have this magic ability to transform into a brick. Should the power go or if there is a malfunction just think how fast downward the drone would be going if it turned into a brick from that height. 3) You are a danger to manned aircraft.

Beautiful work! Ive been up 1.67km, I assume you also are using a flight tracker. They are free and keep you out of a bad situation. Also tip for powersaving, you can turn off the power to the drone and cause it to freefall on the way down. Called a CSC command and you need to toggle a setting in the dji flight app to do it mid flight. For saftey stop it once you fall below 500m, i have broken a drone from it once but its safe if you have the altitude just be smart about it

Cool ive been up 1.67km! Keep exploring, I assume you are being safe and monitoring all private flights at your location, its free from flightradar I reccomended. Keeps you out of trouble

If the battery lasted long enough , you could probably take the thing to orbit.

Ok, so I can constantly get 5 km return on a full battery (OEM hardware) however, I fly in Sport mode to reach the target quicker ( ruclips.net/video/-gMgro0rM58/видео.html ). 1) Are you using OEM hardware? and 2) Are you getting 7.4 km because you're flying Normal Mode? Is it that simple? It's the only way I think that range can be achieved. DM if easier.
