Was interested in comparing an official Core-Sound B-Format decode of OctoMic recordings versus just taking the 8 channel A-Format recording straight to Mach 1 Spatial via a transcode matrix. To my ears the official encode and decode through B-Format and Core Sound's DSP correction sounds overly-dense and boomy and less-pleasant on headphones perhaps?

Walkhough setting up 129 channels of i/o between ProTools & Dolby Atmos Renderer via Jack Audio Connection Kit (JackRouter ASIO)

You might not be aware I tested Dolby integrating JACK Audio support. This allows Windows PC users of ProTools & DAR a viable and flawless equivalent to the macos-only Dolby Audio Bridge. Messing with VR/AR Remote Desktop apps on Meta Quest 2 viewing Bitwig. No audio.

Gain matched Stereo through Mach 1, Atmos and Higher Order Ambisonics outputting back to 30 degree spaced stereo speakers with null test against recorded stereo input.

More messing, more comparisons between panning through objects or object beds.
