The best proof that link and Zelda truly love eachother is that in age of calamity and BOTW Zelda can only access her sealing power when link is in danger and she feels helpless and needs to save her boyfriend.

1:42 I love how in a lot of cutscenes like this, they will show that the character is listening to the other by having them nod their head, like, "Ah, yes I see." Link is clearly listening intently to Zelda, but he is just staring at her straight. He has NO idea what she is talking about. 😂 He's here for it, but head empty. 2:09 "Move, dipsh*t, I have an actual shield!!" 7:46 Anyone else find it an interesting choice to have him touch her arm here? It's fast and subtle, but aside from grabbing her hand to pull her around when guarding her, Link doesn't touch her. It is very clearly a placating motion, just a little, "don't worry, I'm here," sort of gesture, but far more casually intimate than anything else in the game. It's sweet. 😊

It's really time for Link to speak. Traditions come and go. Final Fantasy X was both the first time voice actors were used, and the last time you could rename the characters, or in this case, the main character. That's the price you pay for cut scenes with voice actors. Voice acting has been around for nearly 3 decades now. It's time for Link to have a voice. Unless they want to make Link a mute, fine have him speak in sign language then.
