Conversations. Testimonies. Journeys. Stories. Philosophy. Psychology. Religion. God knows what else.
This has become a space to offer people a wide spectrum of beliefs, interests, opinions and stories. The conversations often center around biblical themes and narratives, but the goal is to present an open space for dialogue and understanding, and may in some instances be explicit.
Ecclesiastes 12:13
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.”

New hat, new shirt, backpack bby!
Is that the end?
yeah thats the end!
Oh, nice.
This is another classic. Love it.
Thanks!
This is a classic video
Thanks Jess!
Phlebas sent me. looking forward to this convo
1:57:30 but has Lori seen ALTERED STATES???
not YET.
1:54:30 "An honest narrative points out how life doesn't cohere." I think this is in the realm of fairy stories. Where it doesn't seem to cohere, but on another level it does.
it coheres in a way that's beyond us
Mitch's monologues are the best.
1:31:50 "If secret is on the front of it, I have good reason to be skeptical." Says the phlat earther.
am i a flat urther?
@ in some ways, yes. I would say very much so.
@ phlat urther ***
@@almondtree I will hear you more on this
@@mitchcapps6021 "I'd believe the sky is green, if you said the sky was green."
1:30:30 Half of new testament scholars not recognizing fake biblical text is not saying much lol. NT scholars suck without the OT.
the NT scholar without the OT is not an NT scholar.
John Dee is almond tree channel content for sure.
Love listening to you guys.
Phlebas!
58:00 Mitch, this is how I got my book done and published. I was working two jobs at the time, and then I get home around 1 AM and stay up till at least 3 AM and get a max of 4 hours of sleep per night, about six days a week, for about three months or so...maybe longer.
With a few packs of cigarettes. But that being said, that was only for the grunt work, the quantity, not the quality. I think the quality takes fermentation.
A truly inspirational feat
"He prefers not to be discovered by chumps."
This line has stayed in my head. "chumps uninvested in the chase"
The baptism bit was in 1 Peter. My mistake
28:00 I think this section should be talked about in correlation with the comparison between faith and gullibility. I think faith is nearly just an adjective for trust, and I don’t see much of a distinction between a trusting person and a gullible one. But this also makes me want to talk about the utility of sarcasm.
Faith vs. Gullibility and utility of sarcasm are well worth teasing out. Missed you on this conversation!
@@almondtree just read a portion of Kierkegaard dealing with this. He framed it as “Love believes all things, and is never deceived.”
wait these guys are real??
We needed you brother!
They've been around for years!
I’m so grateful for this whole conversation.
My bro
Thanks for pointing me this way mcmo. I think I had unsubscribed in one of my depressive fits.
We were lured into conversation with promises of phlat urth that did not materialize
Mitch dapper af in this convo
💯
he's trollen

Jason has it right. Barefoot ftw!
I was just telling my son about this
@@waewang9606 about this video, or a certain part? I’d like to get back into this. I’ve been rereading John, and trying to see more of a broader/universal “son of man” approach, rather than Jesus referring specifically to himself in the third person all the time (which seems a tad strange thing to do, tbh)
@@waewang9606 also, how have you been??? I miss talking to ya!
Enjoyed the conversation

Great summary of Gilgamesh, Jason
Sounds amazing
This is like an intellectual blue chew. And a visual one…
I’m not even sure what that means but I really like it
😂😂😂
I’m glad you find it so stimulating Luke! Jason, count yourself among the blessed for missing that reference!
Why are yall so far away?
because I don't know how to use adobe premiere yet and I must've messed something up
First!
Are you dependent of Jacob to do this lifestreams ?
Yeah sort of! I could do one on my own account but Jacob lets me borrow his with all the bells and whistles. He is a really good friend though so I like when he joins in so we can talk.
I tried to check ..but what happened..sorry you was interrupted .and why all this questioning ..I try to speed trough to se a reading start....beautiful girlfriend ..Jacob behaved exactly like jelous men use to do .😂
The reading never happened, I’m sorry! I will try again to get through some of the book when I get another chance.
I have listened to several versions of this story which is Biblically based. I understand there's more to it than meets the eye.
Superbt interresting,.. to get the historical treads thank you for taking up Gilgamesh 🧡
Great chat!
Thanks! glad you enjoyed it!
8466 Hours per lunar year ..ahh what a story ..I didn’t get this at all from Pageau and RIchard R yt about Enoch
Thanks for plowing trough that text ..confusing jahh of course ..🪲I would have given up 🫠now ICan relax listen while knitting on something
Hey thanks! I need to finish it. I get into the habit of starting these things and never quite finishing them. I will try to pick up where i left off sometime soon....hopefully :)

I love Peter Hiett!
Yeah he is great! and super nice and humble.
I enjoyed this ❤
love it! on par with that Sinbad story you read a while back. thank you for sharing!
Jason, your "not understanding" and ability to honestly and innocently ask questions is such a gift and enlightening to convos. That's why I wanted you to participate in this.
around 37:00 on Kale's witches eating babies & your opinion that witches are often nicer than religious people (christians?). Is that just because they are culturally post-Christian witches? idk.
I’m not sure what the reason…but maybe it had to do with the subtle slips into self righteousness, and the witches are always the damned?
Commentary starts at 2:28
Hecks yeah, boi. Here for it.
Haha corgi show sounds awesome
