Branndywine Fire must not believe in water?
@@michaeleverett9050 do you not see the three lines that go in service? Plus the supply line and the 3 inch line from the first in engine to ours? Everyone has a job when our first guy goes in the hose line is right behind him you can see the water flowing in several clips a few moments later

First man in doesn't have a nozzle in his hands?
And before entering, knelt in a just-opened doorway without full SCBA. Once inside, he opened the ceiling to give the fire access to the attic space or second floor joists. This was frightening to watch.
@@jasminelindros8923he was opening the ceiling checking for fire . He didn’t create a new flow path it was already there.
Never enter a building so involved without a charged line. That’s not very smart.
Stop. Just stop.
I find it hard to believe that the far inside the building with that amount of fire without water. Fire training 101..
@@DavidGlaumit’s actually not. VEIS would be a perfect example. Also, if you suppress without ventilation you’ll lose visibility.
Awesome work.
Hopefully there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident, a massive amount of fire to deal with. Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the firefighters. Your efforts and bravery are greatly appreciated.
Looks like you guys were lucky no one got seriously hurt. Extending yourselves with no charged hand line, opening up the ceiling and feeding it oxygen without a hand line... SMH
A real look into what firefighters face when entering a burning building. The work involved to locate where the hidden fire is. Great work that all the firefighters did!!!
Your efforts and bravery are greatly appreciated.
They are heroes, always facing every challenge.
for second i thought ladder 49 was tiller like in the movie
That Q sounds amazing, great video
I feel bad for whoever has to roll up that supply line...couldn't even see where it ended!
Going structure fire its hot humid outside has suck
I have to ask. Are the house tones the ones from the movie Ladder 49?
No they aren’t
❤great video as always keep dropping em GOOOOGETEMBROTHAS🔥🫰
They opened up an awesome spot for you to be able to reach out and ventilate. Nice job by the engineer getting there safely and set up nicely.
My dad volunteers there
Heroes !!!! 😅
Great work by the officer too, realizing they have a spot to get the stick to the roof. Great catch
Excellent, well done heroes!
As always, professional work, Appreciate the video.
@Eastbrandywinefirecompany 1:12 i was at that fill site all day and filmed your very own Engine 49-5 returning, thanks to the guy who blew the air horn! Ps i was the kid on the side walk. Ask the guys on the truck that day if they saw me, thanks for your service!

Yea we struck a 8th alarm for tankers for a Huge barnfire
We never stop being firemen anytime❤😅
Do FD's still use terms like "4 alarm" in today's era? I listen to calls for my local fire department and have yet to hear 1, 2, 3, or 4 alarm being used.
All the above and 5a in Chester. Lancaster only go's to 4a
How far away from the fire was the fill site?
There were 3-4 and at tops may 5 minutes
Why can't your TAXES pay for a real hydrant system!.....No, real question........Sooooo?
Ask your politicians not the firefighters
@@bigtime7724 I understand what you mean...👍 Let's just say someone, anyone reads my question...and that then turns into questions to Politicians...and suddenly better water supply systems are installed....THEN maybe we could agree that ANY questions are QUALITY questions....You tell me...👀
Because people don't like too pay them
@@TomManning-cs4el God Bless.
@johnexford3281 there were Hydrants (actually it was a very Hydranted area) but they used all the water (because they used 1.1 million Gallons of water) and drained a few water towers
Just out of curiosity why were porta tanks set up in lieu of using the hydrants? Or was it due to water demand?
they were originally operating off hydrants but due to demand and I believe a pressure loss they had to switch to porta tanks
👍👨🚒🚒🚨🔥🧯
Jobtown Baby!!! Go get 'em brothers!
I really hope their station tones or phone alerts are the ladder 49 tones from the movie

Battery tools are so much nicer... We still have the old stuff, but almost never use them. Why waste time putting down a tarp??
Not wasting time at all! Guys that aren’t cutting can put the tarp down while the others are cutting. That way you aren’t putting the tools down in the snow and salt that’s all over the ground
We also have battery operated tools on our Ladder if needed but they are smaller. We have a brand new Rescue due at the end of this year so we will see if anything changes.
@@eastbrandywinefireco5998 It is a waste of time. A quick rinse and you're done. You have to clean the tools after use anyway to make sure there's no glass on them. That will tear up a hydraulic tool ten times faster than any salt will. And there should be rubber feet on the power unit that will keep it off the asphalt. All the equipment was set down on the asphalt first, so putting down a tarp was useless. And I didn't see anyone putting wheel chocks under the pickup which is more important...
@@eastbrandywinefireco5998 Our battery tools are just as powerful as our older tools, just a tad slower because of the hydraulic flow.

Wonderful having a white hat at a working fire which probably wasn’t even his with a full on beard smh.

Sure miss driving my old KME 100 ft ladder platform. Been retired for 13 years and miss doing the job (31 years) Thank you for the video. God Bless - Be safe.
First off great video. Hats off to the engineer. Great driving and speed. Also great job to the firefighter in the officer's seat. Helping with the siren and air horn. Too often you see the engineer doing it all. Finally great teamwork from you and the tanker with the pass. Knowing who was going in first and understanding and executing it was nice to see. Great job by all of you!
かっこいいです。
To any firefighters here, did you guys ever see firefighters in action before you became one and thought “wow that’s so cool, I wanna do that”
Helmet cam footage really wasn’t a thing when I started 16 or so years ago when I started. I saw a plastic recruitment banner that a neighboring city used to put out by my house and decided it would be fun to work it for a summer and then I would go back to a normal full time job in the fall. That was 2006. Haven’t gotten it all out of my system yet but I’m close. 😂
@@OverlandUndergroundthey said fire fighters in action, not on RUclips
Back in the day anyone could be snatched off the street to help fight a wildland fire. I was sent in on a wildland fire in a pair of jeans and a t shirt. 8 hours later I crawled out of the bush , looked back to where I came from and said "HELL YEAH that was cool"! This April I will have been a firefighter for 25 years. Never looked back. LOVE every second of it. Before that day I had never thought of being a firefighter.
@@tiktokisgarbageI I think you are jealous! LOL. Were you turned down by a fire department and are just sore at the world now?
