So, did CDPR get in a time machine, find 1994 Trent Reznor & get him to make their end credits song, or am _I_ crazy?? This song reminds me so much of "A Quiet Place" & "Something I Can Never Have". If you rly let this song effect you emotionally, it'll rip your heart out thru your guts & show it to you, w/ sad eyes & a scornful half smirk. The composer that CDPR landed on I think was one of those infinite number of miracles that have to happen when a project comes together like 2077. It's not a 10/10, it's a 10+10+8+10+9+8+9+10/10; every part has to come together perfectly (or close enuf to it), & no part can be allowed to fail, as it rightfully should (& in the case of this game, initially did, & only skated thru by the skin of their teeth w/ endless hrs grinded of hard work, which continues literally to this day, btw.) I got Cyberpunk 2077 on launch, & put 394 hrs in in like, the first month or w/e it was. This game was an expansive, incredible feat of engineering & creative vision right from the very start. The "woke" psychos chose the wrong game to target, it is legit the most queer & trans friendly game that has every been created. You can play as a "female" model w/ a dick & a man's voice, ffs. & The latitude for actual role playing in the world is wider than any game I can remember playing, except _maybe_ an Elder Scrolls title. But the people & dialogue & characters & the frenetic, chaos-in-motion action just vomits mung on Elder Scrolls. W/e, I'm way off the mark now from where I started. Just fanboy'ing out on this game. Regardless of how idiotic CDPR's politics or w/e have become, 2077 stands as a testament not only to their grit-teeth determination to finish what they started, but the scope & range of their creative staff, their ability to mould & shape that vision along practical channels, their workflow & management decisionmaking, like literally everything. You can _see it_ in the game. Utterly fantastic.
2 months and it still feels bad.
Süper Off
Dam i miss this so much
My first playthrough, I wanted to cross the bridge so badly so I could give Johnny that second chance, but I was too afraid. I recently played again years later being more mature and this time I was able to cross that bridge, I was able to make that sacrifice. I just hope now that Johnny can make the best of the new life I gave him.
Both choices are valid bro. There is no right or wrong or less good or more good. Do what you value the most.
@grph1t3z no matter what I was gonna lose something, so I figured I might as well give something in return
@ to be fair johnny has already lived a long life. It really depends on how you view life itself and value it.
In my mind I like to think that there's still a little bit of V in Johnny that and he's clearly been changed into a better person because of his experience with v

"Hey-... V..."
i wonder what the 2nd game is gonna be like, V again or David. probably gonna be a new cast but it's gonna be great
V canonically loses all their implants in the real ending, and it is canon. It sets up the sequel perfectly with adam smasher still alive, the blackwall breached & millitech taking over NC. You definitely won’t see David again. V maybe, as a ripper perhaps.
@@MildlyArtisticcCyberpunk doesn't have a canon ending to my knowledge.
@@MildlyArtisticcstop spreading lies you clown. There is no canon ending.
what an eerie moment it was
Johnny: Okay. I'll tell you why i want to destroy Arasaka, but I'll only tell you once. Wanna hear it? V: Sure. Johnny: I saw Corps strip farmers of water... And eventually of land. Saw them transform Night City into a machine, fueled by people's crushed spirits, broken dreams and emptied pockets. Corps've long controlled our lives, taken lots... And now they're after our souls. V, I've declared war not because capitalism is a thorn in my side or outta nostalgia for an America gone by. This war's a people's war against a system that's spiralled outta our control. It's a war against the fucking forces of entropy, understand? Do whatever it takes to stop 'em, defeat 'em, gut 'em. If I gotta kill, I'll kill. If I need your body, I'll fucking take it! ...Fucking hell... ...You don't see it. But you will one day.
im not sure if this was a placebo effect, but i noticed that throughout the game, the closer you got to the ending, johnny got less and less glitchy, less like something from the relic, and more like a real person
hm, thinking about it I can see that as well
Nah that's definitely the case, I guess as your body starts making more and more room for him, he starts to integrate gradually and more naturally
I always come back when i'm in the feels.
Why does he have voice lines for defender gadgets?
The end credits made me cry so hard the first time. I got the Arasaka ending. I just wanted everyone to be happy and I wanted V to live for Panam. I consider myself to have thick skin and be pretty jaded against the world but it really cut deep. Ruined my whole day. 10/10
I would give my soul to Vik ngl
the music fits perfectly to this scene
let's be real, all of us who got the game on day 1 who were whining about how bad it was, a huge void kicked in when the credits rolled. And i have to admit, hearing this soft, iconic end credit music makes me feel a bit nostalgic of that winter.
got suicide ending unintentionally first time 😭. when i saw “throw omega pills” i thought they were the cyanide pills and was devastated 😭
There will be no happy ending, you will die in poverty without implants, no one remembers you and no one needs you, yes, this is the most fucking awesome ending
you, me and billions of other gonks
just to put my two cents into the void. this game really pushed me to go to therapy. i was dealing with depression and suicidal thoughs/ideation for so long undiagnosed. I heavily played cyberpunk, it came out around the time i was able to afford a PC and it was a great start, i modded it spent even longer with the game and the ending really hit me the second playthrough. i did the suicide ending just to see it and it hit me what this game is about and what i leave behind. all those voicemails i imagined my own family leaving them. so i went to therapy to better myself. thank you if you read this and i hope you find the strength to keep fighting as i did. it’s within you, sometimes you just need a bump in the right direction.
Glad you're still in this world, man. See you out there.
The darkest part about all these endings is that for me I don't want it to end, I've 100% it including DLC. I don't want it to end 🥲 I've seen edgerunners, another shot to the soul. I'm hopeful for project orion, hopefully I'm alive when it comes out.
cyberpunk made me cybercry
wish there was a ten hour version of this with sound desert wind blowing on the calm waves rippling on Pacifica beachy shores
I felt so sorry for Jackie in the beginning. I felt so sorry for V, Rogue and Johnny in the end…
That's why the secret ending is the best, you go alone and nobody else dies.
4 months ago, i didnt even know a thing about cyberpunk except for its graphics and "bugged game", until i came across the anime and fell in love with it, i finally decided to try out cyberpunk and oh man, it was the freaking greatest of experience ive had in gaming for such a long time, this with phantom liberty, 10/10 story writing, super dark plot, goated game, definitely my top 5 games of all time.
Uh okay
As a Corpo, who saved Takemura and had a good relationship with him, I decided to trust Takemuras advice on joining the Secure your Soul program. It was a very sad ending still...
What a game. The endings really reflect our personality.......is like a psychological test....dunno how to put it in words, but Ive never felt anythibg like that for a game. This is a piece of art. I am now a well grown up adult, start gaming in the 90's, now I play way less, and frankly, Ive been olaying to any airt if game, the so call "masterpieces", but this, oh man, like this Ive neve experienced anything like that before. The game in the whole, comprising the DLC phantom liberty, it's an utmost piece of art, the plot is just egregious. Thanks to the developers to bring this to my life.
I fuckin hate this. Just trying to save V means thats just about everything you do to try and foster bonds is pointless. You end up abandoning the people you care about or dying. Then again, the fact there isn't a definitive good ending left me feeling really introspective.
It’s not pointless. There was meaning in the life V had. They made it count even if they couldn’t live to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Its October 2024 and this song reminds me that this game will forever live in my head, rent free. Its like a book that changes you in some way once you've finished it. You can't quite explain how. It's like that idea of nostalgia for a time/place that doesn't exist.
This game will forever stand the test of time
I never will or never did regret buying cyberpunk on ps4 pretty sure I got really lucky with my first playthrough sure load times were annoying but man was it one of the best story's I've ever played and I remember i told myself I wouldn't do the ending till I got a ps5 and man am I glad I did that made my first playthrough even more meaningful to me still playing it to this day it just sucks that it had a bad start every time I talk about it everyone still thinks it's a buggy crap game that no one should buy anyway will always LOVE this game
my life is pretty fucked up but i will fix it
you are not alone choom
The music sounds very sad and emotional, mimicking the people of Night City and the story and journey of V. It is truly one of the most wonderful and beautiful games that have drawn the future.
So, the login screen is also ending screen. And it's the Mikoshi. 'cause it's wet. 'cause there's water cooling around it.
"Are you sure? It will not be possible to roll back" - attack the Arasaka Tower
Saddest hour of my life.
um final que fez todos chorarem seja de emoção, ódio, teisteza ou felicidade, uma história que vai ficar marcado em nossas mentes e coração ♥. I love cyberpunk
guys, its remake of "nocturnes op55n1 by chopin" just search and you'll find out its the same
а эта гнетущая и тяжелая музыка у меня в голове и осталась
Having a staring contest with Keanu be like:
thanks to this game I lived another life
" "You were very strong medicine, V."
Ребята, я снова плачу...
The only way i can describe the feeling i get from this song is that you’ve tried your best to help the city but in the end nothing’s changed in fact it’s gotten worse. The song just gives this feeling of dread that the city is un save able and anyone living there is already doomed. Which is made even worse by the video calls you get from your friends in the credits hoping for a better future. But you’ve already played the game, you’ve seen what the city really is. There is no hope or future and there’s nothing you can do about it.
"RELIC - SECURE YOUR SOUL"
My first playthrough was the most emotional ending: female V, Johnny taking my body. Viks message was tough but when Judy came up I fucking cried.
Temperance best ending
Whoever is behind the soundtrack is fucking phenomenal. What a bleak, yet intriguing and powerful song to play in the end.
you know you picked the worst ending when the first thing Viktor says is "How's the earth from up there?"
There is no happy ending in Night City 😔
