good CTE drill
Blue went ape shit for their guy that came off the line face down with his head nearly in the dirt. O-line should have just layed on him, easy block, but the drill is about hit, drive, and leverage while in the upright drive position. Honestly this drill is pointless when it comes to defensive translation to the field. Defense should be sheding the block, rushing pass or finding the ball carrier. The drill is beautiful when the ball carrier is involved, also one of the best learning and reading drills there is. Teams should just break down in groups of 3 and do this for conditioning like they're running sprints twice a week at the end of practice.
That Ain't proper english either! Lol just kidding Cal 😊
go dum
I know what college i want to play football for
Oh yeah woo woo let me hit you over the head to try and knock you out. Helmet to helmet, way to teach kids how to hit, poor technique on all of them. Go ucla
Ice hockey is way better
Why don’t they lineup 20 at a time, it would be more efficient.
I like the slap on the ass, go get him big boy
That’s some practice, everybody is just standing around
So lame, too much testosterone flowing
Looks a lot more like the LSU Big Cat Drill than it does Oklahoma
Best video I’ve ever seen
Poor 22
That is awful, they don't even know basic 3 point stance and not a single OL drove their legs. No wonder UCLA sucks.
No feet in the bunch!
Stop that hip tossing shit
Lessgooooo go fat boy lol 😂
This is boards bruh
This is a board drill
This right here serves as exhibit A for how UCLA went 6-8 that season. No pop whatsoever by anyone on that team.
That’s a board drill. Smh.
I remember mike harris.he sucked.ive hated him more than anything in life. Praise3 Allahيمارس الجنس مع هذه الكلبة
Definitely isn’t Oklahoma drill
Definitely isn’t Oklahoma drill
This is just a heads up drill
Look I'm not a D1 athlete and never will be lmao but when you look at other programs these look like some small guys, maybe just me though?
number 33stop moving his feet
$$$
this drill accomplishes nothing
+The Manowar - Except separates the men from the boys
+Bill Wanke not at all. All it does and show who's got more strength, and in a lot of positions in NFL strength isnt the most important thing.
That's because you've never played. If you dominate your opponent, you win. Football is a violent game, strength is a HUGE component, as is speed. For interior lineman strength is the most impt quality one can have. Strength, quickness and power. This drill establishes that and isolates the position 1 vs 1
You sound like the typical loser that reflects on his high school football days... lol Just stop.
Except I played D1 against the very best, including Barry Sanders, Terry Crews, Deion Sanders and many others at Big 10 and MAC level. Played on televised games and won the game ball on such a game. Benched 405 and ran 4.58 at 6-1, 220. Also had a Pro Tryout. Nice try though, fool
great player
This ain't Oklahoma drill
Let me ask you what's an oklahoma drill? Exactly.
Actually it's pretty close. And there isn't a certain way to do the Oklahoma drill. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma_drill "The Oklahoma drill has several variations. The most common involves two players lined up three yards opposite one another. A corridor is set up typically using three blocking bags on each side of the players lined up top to bottom to create a wall, and the walls are spaced about one yard apart. This creates an area of about three feet by nine feet. The two players, at the sound of the whistle, then run at one another and the drill is over when one of the players is on the ground, or if a ball carrier is involved when he is tackled. If a player is able to drive the other player out of the corridor, that also ends the drill."
its when you have an ovinsive blocker vs a defensive playe and a running back
your right it's a Board Drill
Y’all about 10 yards apart “&” in the Of ur team , then they lay on there backs both plaster hop up and run full speed one carrying the ball and if u get past with the ball u win but if u don’t get past the defender u loose
Zzzzzzzz ... Not as intense as the real Oklahoma drill or the big cat drill (LSU).
I just watched the LSU hit drills, and man those LSU boys are much bigger and meaner than UCLAs version. Doesn't mean UCLa wouldn't win a game against them, but there's a big personnel difference.
youtube algorithm showing me this video and comment after Ucla beat them 😂
@@ak.foesev yeah right
4:22 that guy wrestled before CLEAN AF LATERAL
this isnt the oklahoma drill
yeah no rb, basically just one one one.
Circle drill
Looks fun
22 and 28 look tiny
Really they over exaggerating but good work👊👊☝️🙏
Yeah, only a few stood out. Blue went ape shit for their guy that came off the line face down with his head nearly in the dirt. O-line should have just layed on him, easy block, but the drill is about hit, drive, and leverage while in the upright drive position. Honestly this drill is pointless when it comes to defensive translation to the field. Defense should never be fooling around with a blocker minimally, they should be rushing pass or finding the ball carrier.
This is the king off the hill drill
No it's 1 on 1 or king of the hill
they getting hype and they not even doing nothing not even in contact
not the oklahoma drill but still cool to watch
1 on 1? This isn't Oklahoma… Driving drill sure. Always fun to compete though.
yeah but embarassing when your on the ground
Looks fun
I fucking hate this drill, I did this on Sunday's practice. It molds little boys into Men.
As a former cornerback, I hated this drill. I would always get paired up against guys 20lbs heavier than me, so I was at a huge disadvantage. Also, it was always against an offensive player, who played off the whistle. Corners reacted to the receiver, and off a backpeddle. When did you ever play with your hand on the ground? We always practiced backpeddling, and then breaking on the ball off that backpeddle. But it did make us tougher, and gave us some measure of confidence that we could at least not collapse when a fullback, tight end or lineman came at us.
yeah, the actual drill is more for backers and linemen or easier for them atleast
Man listen..I played safety..I loved this shit..Didn't matter who you put in front of me..There gonna get hit.
Man you just suck and soft
You can say they were equal to each other
I could beat that number 29 kid weak
Well they didn't get they're asses handed to them it actually came down to the last seconds on a field goal...Also look at the SEC and tell me who actually has a good program for football...bama, LSU, auburn, missouri, and maybe Texas A&M. In the PAC 12 we literally kill each other just to be top ranked in our division Im just waiting for one SEC team to challenge a PAC 12 team they're have been offers but i guess no one from the SEC wanted to take them
sooooooo about that score......?
