Falcon XR8 the list grows. The slowest tickford needs injectors ?
After working through the list of things needed to get this Aussie performance car ( say that with a straight face ) back on the road we hit a road block. Injectors ! After finding we had fuel in the rail and fuel returning to tank but still no start we busted out the noid lights and found we had a pulse. Spark and fuel is all you need right ? Well we need the fuel in the cylinders so that’s what this video is all about. Removing everything to get to the injectors !

After getting the throttle cable and pedal sorted the first test drive was a fail. Using the stock differential has its advantages but I found an issue. I should have worked out the gearing in the rear end. Although the ratio doesn’t appear to be anything crazy combined with the gearing in the kit it’s well useless ☠️ Check Out the test drive. Oh the neglect. The wife’s Ford Courier dragged into the shed for some work. It’s not pretty under there in fact it’s bad. I just don’t know how it drives so good ? With a list of parts that are needed as long as my arm lowering it has been put in the back burner. So for now I finish off adjusting the steering stops. After flipping the rear differential which resulted in a much better location for the new motor I set to work fabricating a new mount built off the differential housing.
