You make a good argument but I disagree that this kind of thing is wrong or unethical. Mr beast is taking nothing from these people, he is giving them an opportunity to be a part of one of the most popular shows in the world, and everyone gets flights, essentials covered as and are guaranteed to walk away with a monetary prize. Personally I see no issue here

Something I don't really understand about Gi-hun "deciding to sacrifice a small amount of people for the greater good" is that those people would've died anyway right? Gi-hun clearly had very little influence on the other players by that point, therefore outside of his group of friends, the players were going to do whatever they were going to do. Yes, their "side" would have a few less fighters but I hardly see how that would DIRECTLY cause "sacrifices" since these kind of brawls aren't necessarily about having the exact same number of team members etc. I just think they couldve used a more direct example. And, is he deciding that one life is WORTH more than another? Because how I see it - if we are to assume hes making a direct sacrifice of some players in order to kill the front man, he's not saving 1:1, he's saving 450+ people every year going forward. He's not deciding one person is worth more than one other, hes deciding that in order to save thousands, he's going to allow a few people who had a high chance of dying anyway, die Maybe I'm confused LOL.

I also thought the same thing abt the run time when I first heard abt it, but I wasn’t bored at all during the movie like I expected to be lol. I thought they did an incredible job and have even started reading the wicked book! It’s super messed up but it’s pretty good 😂

Personally I think the point of the book and movie is about the pop-culture. The story is about people trying to look into the history of the media they love and learn everything about them. it’s also about the dangers that corporations can have to products and what it could look like. I admit that without the pop-culture it would be a nothing but to me that’s like saying lord of the ring is nothing without adventure or marvel is nothing without super heroes.
