AvoCado and Equalyze, you guys went WILD and manifested such a FANTASTIC remix! I love the high energy levels that you guys brought out in this! From the get go, that intro is the PERFECT introduction to this remix as it escalates to that PROMINENT lead, PUMPING low brass, and FIRE percussion! And the support that the bassline brings is the cherry on top! I've got to mention the section at 0:52 and again at 2:05 in particular, as it is such a powerful highpoint with that beautiful melody! And that retro part at 1:13 is such a cool change in pace! And I LOVE the fact that the visuals pixilate for that section in both of your videos! I am absolutely blown away by another PHENOMENAL production! This whole production is so INSANELY GOOD! I cannot get enough of it! This will be in the playlist for a long time for sure! Great work on this! :D

Oh man, what a collab! Congrats to you both on a great remix! The synths throughout are awesome, and I love the crunchy 8-bit sounding drums partway through. Really helps set up the final resolution to the remix. (Agh, I’m really obsessed with the leads - always one of my favorite aspects from BOTH of you!!!)

This sounds so good! I found it first on Equalyze's channel but wanted to support both of you. The track as a whole is well produced and the work that you both put into it is clear from the start. It's a high energetic theme with some memorable melodies, even more powerful with the synths adding to the atmosphere of the song. The visuals are also very good, giving that air of heavenliness that the track itself oozes. As a fellow VGM musician myself, there's no better feeling than tackling a great song like this and taking the time to get creative and make it your own while keeping it true to what the original was. Things get even more interesting and creative when we collaborate with others like you both did here, with everyone adding to what the end result will be. And I can relate since I coincidentally today released a collaboration of my own of a Mega Man X2 theme. Anyway, this was a great remix by both of you, keep it up!

AvoCado, what an honor and privilege it's been to work with you again! I am so pumped that we got to cover this track after having talked about it more than a year ago. And indeed, what a tabled turn it was, to have my request on your Dark Pit remix video become a collaboration project - I couldn't have asked for more! I don't know how you manage to do it every time, but your arrangements are so dang good! The added parts you incorporated sound excellent, and this definitely isn't an easy song to improvise with, in my opinion. One of my favorite details of yours are those beautiful arps in the sections while the notes in the melody are being held, at 0:32 and 1:45 - they sound so majestic and they're a perfect complement to the otherwise intense instrumentation. You always have such nice-sounding leads, too - synths that are vibrant, rich, and full of texture and detail - I love that you never play it safe and use plain notes and instruments; rather, you constantly take creative risks and deviate from the original melodies and instruments in cool and unexpected ways. And man, can we talk about that drumming?! I seriously am in awe at how you're able to create such dense, yet tight rhythmic patterns, with so many unique fills, lead-ins, and mix-ups. I know writing and mixing drum parts is one of your favorite things to work on, and man it SHOWS! The powered-up drumming here really drives the remix and matches the style of the original perfectly, while expanding upon it with loads of added variance and detail. Seriously impressive stuff, my man! I enjoyed your use of the Pit and Pittoo character and headshot designs here - a few parts had me grinning, and I especially liked the moments where they clashed at the center of the screen - very true to the game! It looks like you and I ended up using that same colored sky image from the official game artwork, but in different ways, which I really love. One of my favorite things about collaborating is seeing how my partner makes their video, because it's always exciting to see the same song set to different visuals! Dude, I am already psyched up for our next collab, and I'm delighted that this has become a perennial thing - and I hope that remains the case for years to come! Okay, I've seriously become obsessed with this remix - like dude, how do you even?! I've never heard a spicier rendition of Gerudo Valley, and this is easily one of my new favorite productions of yours. The variety, the sound design, the arrangement, the sheer ENERGY... all of it is just perfect. I don't know how you managed to cram so much sonic goodness into a single piece, but holy heck man, you nailed it here! From the moment that dynamic filtered hi hat pattern came in at 0:02, I was fully engrossed, and it set the tone perfectly for what was to come. The percussive elements here are so tight, and your drum programming (everything from arrangement to processing) in general is truly unmatched - there's a reason you've handled the drums in each of our collaborations! The fills are so varied and complex, and they make the rhythmic patterns even better, while helping things to transition with finesse. I love how you alternate between regular and half-time patterns here, with the latter being used for power and impact, and the former creating a high-energy drive that's groovy as heck. And I love when you drop out the drums in certain instances, which really creates some cool openings, like at 0:46 with that brilliant solo lead segment. And by the way, the beat that kicks in at 0:48 is my favorite drum pattern in this remix, and one of my favorite drum patterns ever. Everything about it is just so cool! Of course, I can't not mention that awesome rock pattern at 1:28, with loose hats on the downbeats - what a sick break! It must have taken a great deal of time and effort to create just the drums alone here, but wow man, the result is fantastic! And I haven't even talked about the instrumentation yet, which is similarly top-tier. There's so much raw energy and texture in all the different instruments, from those dense, vibrant leads to the zesty bass that Player2 mentioned; I love hearing it featured at 1:18 in that bass solo segment, by the way. The combination of synths and real-sounding instruments is remarkable, as well, and that sax at 0:30 sounds like it's straight out of Mario Kart 8 - I could definitely see this being an official remix for a course based on Gerudo Valley. And man, the layering of different instruments is remarkable - for example, the way you add in the sustained strings to give extra warmth and cinematic depth to the leads in that climax segment is fantastic. It's not easy to take _so_ many different instruments and make them sound coherent and glued-together, but you've demonstrated superb skill in that regard here. I have to say, this is the single best arrangement of Gerudo Valley I've ever heard. The song structure in general is excellent, with that sick key change that Steel and Hanabi mentioned, and there are just a metric ton of interesting details throughout. For instance, that guitar riff at 1:35 is immaculate, and the preceding section, with those accented brass hits taking the place of the melody (at 1:28) is genius. And my goodness, that ending is TIGHT, with the chromatic flourish leading into one final resounding note - that leaves me with a feeling of just, wow.😮But in terms of arrangement, I think the segment at 0:54 is my favorite - the way those background chord stabs play syncopated notes as that acidic synth plays a melody variation is just sublime. I seriously can't get enough of it! I might be going out on a limb here, but I feel like there's some heavy inspiration from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure here, and I'm all for it! And I know you mentioned that you didn't go too hard with the visuals here, but I'm still a fan! Using the BOTW/TOTK font for the song title and artist name is a great touch, and I like the customized Triforce logo that appears on the spinning record in the corner - the work of MikeDesign, I'm guessing? In any case, the whole thing is just too good, and this is a remix that will stick with me for a very long time. Fantastic work, Avo!! ❤‍🔥
