They clag well on a heavy load too because there was loads of blue smoke I could smell after it had passed. I was in the right place at the right time lol.

@@DugmerJunction apparently there is fish in them pools but it’s owned by the local farmer who doesn’t like people going near them never mind fishing in them. Talking to a local while we were there !!!!

@ aww that’s a shame fishing and railways together is always enjoyable. I used to fish close to Westbury station so you could have the best of both worlds

I did wonder if the NRM or If Barrowhill may have acquired one .. but at this rate, with the lack of progress for the remaining twelve at Crewe IEMD, they'd more likely want one in better condition. 90028 could go to York given that it was named there in 2019.

@arthurgrowler5749 hopefully, Freightliner are waiting for DB to reduce their value to potential buyers. There is no reason why Freightliner don't have them already, lined up at Basford Hall, other than price. Clearly, the paths they operate could be more regularly electric. Ie 4M87/4M88/4M63/4S88 etc are currently regularly electric but not exclusively so .. the workings for Malcolm in the future could potentially be so as well

@@antman09ful1 Hand picked knowing the tractor would be running also £28 return, which was great 😀plus was expecting 70009 on the logs but it failed the day before. There was enough to keep us interested with some freight & the RHTT schedule. Just a shame a couple of trains were cancelled what effected our journey home…..
