Correct, when used as a frying pan coating, over time it can be toxic. Using it once or twice in your lifetime because you can’t find any dental floss is not something I would worry about. I bet if you checked your water pipes at home, every connection will have PTFE tape.

But honestly, the toxicity doesn’t worry me, the air, water and processed foods are a lot worse. I’m sure actually using dental floss on the day you can’t find some real stuff won’t kill you 😃

I’ve been watching the weather radar and was happy to see the big red blob moving sideways across Thailand and ignoring the northern region. I just managed to get my van out of the jungle yesterday after being stuck at the house for 8 months due to a particularly brutal rain season which destroyed the road. The papaya grows like weeds up here, also bananas, passion fruit and pomelos, so they are all very cheap.

There is another coffee shop at the bottom of the mountain that has sheep, so I’m guessing that any white fluffy mammal has some sort of coffee connection

Yes, the red song taew in the city are like taxis, you can ask them to take you anywhere, the white one we took from Mae Taeng is like one you are used to with a set route and fee but we paid a little extra so when he got to the end of his route and everyone was dropped off, he took us to central festival. We live at 900 meters altitude, a rickshaw would only be fun going down the mountain 😂
