Whatever's goin' on it's Awesome ~ Reminds of surgeons in hospitals fixin' replacement hearts and other change-over body parts with putting tubes here and putting valves there and turning on blood supplies and stuff and either way haulage or heart 'gettin' the show back on the road'.🙂
For all of you that are impressed by this engineering you should watch how we do it in scandinavia for me this old 1950s engineering. By the time this man is transfering the trailer load we are already done and getting another load
You guys must be Italian with all that spaghetti you’re throwing around! I run Rogue or Reliance boxes and there’s two air lines like any trailer, and one or two electrical plugs and one safety chain. You don’t have to hook up hydraulics when you transfer because the air or electric motor drives the wheels on the box itself. This is as weird as it gets for me but hey, different country.
Thanks for all the support guys!!! My bro Johnny has recieved tonnes of positive feedback from people on this video. He has a new 2020 Long Nose Pete and we will be posting videos of it soon to come....🤴🙌🙏
There is an air switch on the trailer bar that lifts it. Truck is put in reverse then the driver hits a switch on the back of the truck that turns the engin over without allowing it to start which slowly walks the truck back
One thing I noticed is that when he hooked up the trailer he never put a safety pin in the latch. Yes I know they aren’t supposed to open on that type hitch but ACCIDENTS do happen!!
So on that type of pintle hitch, you can see when he drops it that there is a little flange above it. That little flange prevents the hitch from lifting up. It tucks sort of underneath so the only way to unlock the hitch is manually.
@PS 400 oh yep.in oz we call them dogs.but we also have pups and pigs lol.either way its whats suited for the conditions. I seen these set ups in bc canada.
In the Vancouver BC Canada area there is many developments done on property that is down a hill or tight driveway ect. If you drive rock truck you know how much easier it is to drive the truck alone opposed to pulling ANY trailer weather its Pup, end dump, transfer ect. With the transfer you basically get the mobility of driving just the truck but have the capacity ot a truck and pup or end dump. You pull your load out to a job, park your truck and trailer roadside or somewhere easily accessible and dump your truck, then return to the easily accessible location to butt up to your trailer and then transfer your trailer box into the front truck (like the russian dolls) then head over say down the tight driveway or down a side road and dump the trailer box then return to transfer the box back on to the trailer and your on your way. When im warmed up it can all be done in 10 - 12 minutes so to get the xtra precision its not a huge set back by any means! I hope this explination helps
Like how he used his gloves as a marker 👍
Sweden also has transfer dump trucks, but the engineering in our equipment is light-years ahead compared to this.
What state are you in? Seems like a lot of wasted time, get a tractor and dump trailer/24 tons, or tri axle dump truck/23.5 tons one unit
In and out of the cab plus the Pental hitch setup
7 axel strong lol
Ancient
Most dangerous trailers ever, centre of gravity way to high That’s why they have the highest rollover percentage
omg wat een slecht systeem .europees systeem is veel makkelijker
wicked
All I can say is Amazing mechanical engineering!

shouldnt the chains be crossed?^^

Good work! How many miles do you travel for per load?
I wondered how it worked and still wonder why it’s still being used. Lots of extra effort!! Cheers!
The stupid american flintstone technology. This shows how it's done in Sweden. ruclips.net/video/X3-bPaZchYA/видео.html
You can haul double the material with 1 trip.
@@shaggings why not have a pup you can dump without the hassle is my point.
dump a transfer anywhere... a pup needs wayyyyy more space.
I like my reliance hydraulic setup a lot more then this
Way too much plugging and unplugging for me
For all of you that are impressed by this engineering you should watch how we do it in scandinavia for me this old 1950s engineering. By the time this man is transfering the trailer load we are already done and getting another load
We don't got all day
What does he haul? The dump stays clean after dumping

Why not just get a super dump?
These guys earn their money!!!!
Thanks for posting. I always wondered how that was done.
I am looking at getting my class A cdl this coming spring. Kinda sad, but that right there is my dream job!! Awesome video

This is how insanely stupid your system is 😅😂😂😅
😎😎😎🍻🍻🍻🍻

You should look up RKP or SLP transfer systems. They have been the standard here in Sweden for more than 20 years.
So I missed how the trailer part lifts off the ground and the truck backs up

Thanks for your responce
That's a bad design coupling. European style in much better and you don't need chains
I've only seen one transfer in person. But I believe here in the states the chains are for safety in case the hitch happens to come disconnected.
Seems easier and cheaper to run a trailer dump.
This is when you the area is to small to get a trailer in
You cross your chains
Прикольно
Perhaps the rules are different in BC, but the Chains should be crossed over each other. Interesting set up... Thanks for sharing
Assuming it’s done without cameras Impressive
But still ingenious engineering
Time consuming
Note at 2:28 the way the driver hitched up his hands with both gloves, locked & loaded, impeccable performance👍
My boiii Johnny Singh
Hey slick I noticed your drawbar didn't drop I noticed you also corrected that in the video good job
Its just on air. It takes a while to drop down. By the time the second part was filmed it had time to lower down on its own
Biggest waste of time, just bring a big dump trailer, and end of story
One thing I noticed is that when he hooked up the trailer he never put a safety pin in the latch. Yes I know they aren’t supposed to open on that type hitch but ACCIDENTS do happen!!

what an incredible complicated idea for a dump truck
Thief engineering.
I agree we just jack knife the dog trailer where im from.

@PS 400 awesome i loved Canada 👍
Robert Arrol Thea are for when the space is to small to get a trailer into.
What a pain in the dick.
Ну и нахуя все эти манипуляции???!!!
Looks like alot of fucking around. How bout super trains
That is to much work why not have a double roll off or something
How is this better than a pup trailer that dumps itself? Better yet, just use a semi trailer if it’s the same damn material.

Good reply 'Wet Movement'.....good reply. Makes sense...
You back that up right on the dime perfect
To much bullshit in my book
Too much
