Timing is off
The shittest engine 🤢 problem's all the time .. i will burn my engine soon
Very cool 😎
It allmost sound carburated
Where is this car now? How is it?
Car is doing good, running the same setup. Mostly street driving it. I'm building another 86 for track now.
high compression . ???
its 2020 how is the car now?
It's been doing good, mostly street driving. I'm building a track version now.
@@LANTICA Nice, hope to see the progress in the channel
WTF? ITS FCKING RICH! YOU JUST BUILDING UP CARBON IN THE CYLINDER!
Why difficult to start up..
It's a first start on a new motor it's not exactly gonna fire up instantly
это 4 afe ! а не 4 age аха
Also what is your set up for the throttle linkage?
What ECU are you running ? Also what size injectors ?
wow 4A-GE 16 valves always sound amazing. what mods have you guys done to it?
High comp pistons, a mild cam, headers and full exhaust
It'll be nice when it's set up properly
Once it starts it sounds mighty fine!
Работает двиг как то стремно
doesn't an increased compression allow for a better mpg?
Well in theory yes, but it also increases the emissions
Always on first start up, use propane. You'll get clean start and no gas flood. 👍
The sound reminds me of Initial D.
What kind of transmission you got there? T50?
Wonderful Sound!!!
Haha, those camber plates :D
how many horsepower it doing?
Bassam Damous ~125hp~
beautiful :^)
now if only you had a hatchback, so beautiful though man.
Damn! Did not expect 163,000 views for a 4age engine!!
Polluting the city with that poorly tuned engine
shut up its a first start itb you moron
T. Velev the 4AGE less polluting than a VW polluting wkwkwkwk
Oh my God that sounds glorious!! What exhaust is that, if I may ask?
it is a HIJK ELEMENOPEE
starting fluid son, starting fluid
what muffler is that?
sounds like shit and too much smoke
the sound is not coming from the exhaust, its coming from the engine, honda boy
why??
If this engine is still in working condition today, I will be INCREDIBLY surprised. Your timing is a little late, it's running to rich and your cams are probably just a tad bit to aggressive for street use, although that last one is more of an opinion I must admit. You can clearly hear it struggling to rev up and it sounds almost like it is misfiring, could also be that the timing is to early, but the knock sensor would most likely have cut the engine off if that were the case. If you removed the knock sensor however, you deserve a firm kick in the rear end.
+hectorae86 Is he running a stand alone ECU? No knock sensor on those NA 16v's stock. Only the supercharged 4a's came with them. But yes I say your right on everything else. :)
Audiman0aha I did not know this..... hmmm, thanks man.
No problem man, Information is power!
Audiman0aha Information and confidence is power ;)
it sounds like its a little lean that pop from the carbs my 73 used to do the same thing
Yo bro check them points you'll see the truth
abaout itb and plate adapter can you send me wht itb and what plate adatper do you use? i have one 4age big port and i want to change the admision for that thanks gabriel
Shield that distributer cap before it turns into a wax candle.
+Damien Vasquez truth
What is the distributer cap?
@@elevatorman5468 that's like asking what is a spark plug
Hello what itb do you used?
I'll be N/A, I want to buy everything to get 200hp and 9000 rpm, but I don't know what CR is best for that build. I have to know that for buy the Pistons. I'm going to use a big port cylinder head, thanks
+Andres Rojas Just swap a blacktop in
well it takes quite a lot to get 200hp out of a 4ag. Visit Bill sherwood's page for details but basically you'll need 83mm bore pistons in 11.5:1 Cr, 300+ dur camshafts and an ass load of head work. It'd be cheaper to just do a BEAMS swap with headers, trumpets, and a tune.
Since running the carbs what do you have to do different with the setup? New ECU, fuel map, etc??
NovackN Uhhhhhhhhh he's not running carbs, if he were running carbs he wouldnt be running an ECU. also if he were running carbs you most certainly wouldn't see a fuel rail for fuel injection or fuel injector wiring harness. He's just running an "ITB" aka Individual Throttle Body. As for new ECU/Fuelmap you cant remap a 1st gen 4AGE ecu, also 1st Gen 4AGE ecus are garbage. He would most likley be running an aftermarket ECU though you cant see anything in the video that would show that.
nice sound
Love it
Video of the beaut driving plz?
facebook.com/theJDMShop out of the ordinary
lol, the open quad thottles need an intake plenium for a contant vacum over all throttles to be achieved.
This is my first ae86 build. View the car and its progress on my facebook!! facebook.com/steve.boyeas
hi there! how is the CR of your engine bro? I have a MR2 aw11 and I want to buy forged pistons.
Andres Rojas Forged pistons alone are not going to give you a power increase unless youre moving to higher compression pistons. Are you NA or FI? the FI engine came with forged pistons and conrods stock good for alot more boost than they came stock. If youre building this NA id recomend your first investment for more power is new cams. get some 260 or larger cams in there.
line the number 1 wire to TDC, then back it up a tad, at least for initial timing. If the distributor is loose sometimes it will move when u crank it
Very Fujiwara! I've watched this vid 8 times and counting just to hear that sound. That sound!
You realize the radiator needs to be sealed for coolant flow, and like work out the air bubbles -mechanic
The thing is though, no you don't.
Not at all , it help raising the boiling point and this also means getting your engine faster at working temp , but your waterpump is pumping coolent all the way , closed or open---
Remember , your waterpump keeps pumping none stop , but the thermostat stops the flow to the radiator , thus depends on the thermostat working temp ( opening temp ) Toyota varies from 82 - 93 , depends what model , engine and so on . So with or without the cap ,flow will start towards the radiator as soon as the thermostat starts to open . The cap only seals of the cooling system where you fill up the system, other models do have bleeding spots like an Avanza . ( Diagnostic tech Toyota ) But correct , it needs to be opened to get out all the air even when hot, if thermostat was not fitted correctly air might have been stuck behing the thermostat so heat up till the flow is going ...
no.
