I've long had a deep admiration for this film, and the music so perfectly and unobtrusively amplifies the "sad little happinesses". I curiously find myself returning to this movie at least once a year. There is just something to it that so deeply resonates with me. It seems to evoke the exact feelings I have when thinking back on my early 20s and time spent in the city with friends. It ticks that box in my brain that desires wistfulness, much the same way that a film like Singin' in the Rain provides uninhibited joy when it's needed.

This band were so overrated, especially the guitarist. Not Lewis, he was good. Joseph Jezard is dogshit. Hat Dimension forever ♥️

hey, thanks for the time and vibes it took to do this. I played guitar in the band. We're hopefully doing one last rodeo next year in London, keep an eye out and somehow let us know if you can make it, we'll see if we can get you on a list or something. We also did a random one day jam in 2017 where we wrote and recorded a song 'emoji christmas' (it can be found on the AVERYDIY band camp) and we might have something out this winter. stay cool xxx
