Thank you for this video! Picked one up that was grinding on the inside. Watched this video and was able to tear it apart, clean the sand build up, regrease, and reoil it. It works as good as new! $40 dollars and a deep clean and ive got a mint condition reel!

Thanks so much!!! This is what just helped me repair a bung anti reverse.

I have a new Okuma Cavalla 5-iiLX 2-speed lever drag reel. My problem is the speed changer button. The retaining ring of the button was out of place and the button stays in the lower gear. the lever to disengage it doesn't work anymore. Is this common to Okuma 2 speed reels? I have only used this reel thrice and got some nice size fish with it.

I believe that remove the flange (cover) of bearing is the worst thing i ever see my friend .

So, I noticed the current version on Amazon is v.3. Is it possible to purchase a v.2 or even a v.1? I really only need the smallest tip (3 mm, I think) and a very basic slide hammer. V.3 is a bit pricey for me since I may only use it once. I don't sport fish. I'm just going to use it to repair my RC car. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

These tutorials don't miss a thing! I've been fishing saltwater with my Saltist 50 and 40 for five years. After watching your videos I had no qualms about breaking them open and doing some maintenance. My reels are running smoothly, and thanks to a few rewinds, all tiny washers are in the right place. Greatly appreciate your time putting these together.

With how some bearings corrode dissimilarity between stainless steel and aluminium alloy and the strength that they hold I could see the push tip clear through the frame as its so thin, also some frames like Shimano BC have a hole in the middle. I know the vid is 3 years old but how did you go with the puller?

i have a Lexa 300 HL reel,brand new,and when i pull on the handle in the sideway,it have a litlle movement...like its loose or something its this normal? to have that small movement? it moves like 1.5/2 mm when i pull the handle on the side of the reel

u do a good job !!! i have the same reel and after a few fishing trips its not having lock revers tha handle goes back and forwrth..i havent open it yet but i will..its a very pleasant job..gives me a good time!keep up the good work!!!!

you have an error assembly. when putting the Dog Bridge Assembly. you have to be careful not to bend the spring. if it gets bent badly it could become useless and have to order a new one. waiting time 2 months.

I'm new to the bearing puller world, but I have an idea for your next product update :) Maybe add a screw with pin that stops short and maybe with a bit of well balanced weight on it, to test the bearing before yanking it, for those of us buying this for drones which have 2 bearings per motor and may only need to replace one.
