Major job and it went well and fast actually.....I worked my rollers off those couple of days but it was fun work I must day therefore it wasnt work I suppose........we are in a good position to start building in the spring for sure.......thanks for your support Larry........I hope you can visit in 2025.....

Yes that was what looked like a lot of work......I actually loved doing it.......no flies and wasnt too hot and it only took a coulple of days and its still standing after all the wind we have had here......crazy........thanks Mike......

@@codraven57 I was as green as a gourd when I got my first fix-her-upper. It came with a speed boat and a 22 foot motor boat with an 8 Acadia make and break engine. You have a mansion compared to what I had to deal with. I know a lot about what not to do (lol). Thankfully there is more than one way to skin a cat.

@@codraven57 please don't call me "sir".... most people call me "Skipper" which was a respectful name given to many old people. The first time someone called me Skipper I looked around to see if someone was standing behind me (lol).

Yes in a world without limits we would do a concrete foundation.........we are far from perfect as you klnow.......going old school with blocking on top of the ground......we are insulating the skirting and this should keep the frost out for what little frost we get.......I expect to adjust the blocking in the first year as we load it up of course.....easy to do that now with all the room there...........what most would call work I would call fun tasks........this has been mostly fun so far...........in the woods cutting firewood and logs are fun for me also.........yes I have to slow down sometimes for sure.....thanks for your support as always..........

We have had much wind here this fall with over 100km/hr gust about 4 different storms and she is still standing.........we have had other minor damage but the cabin is sound.........thanks for watching Noel.....
