Start to finish demonstration and explanation of how to paint clouds in watercolor.
Lovely 😊
Which paper is using?
Master, the class is gorgeous. I would like to know which paper you use. Because it is very gentle to acomodate the new pigment you add and add and add. Thank you!
Does anyone know what paper he is using?
Phantastisch gemalt ❤❤❤
He's very energetic isn't he? I'd hate the wobbly tables. That would really annoy me. Great demo. Thanks.
Thank you so much for your sharing. Absolutely love your approach.
Muy buena acuarela Maestro.
I really liked the over the shoulder camera angle and the angle on the artist’s left side.
Wow...
Mine did not turn out like this. I wasn’t using my good paper but @lso there are so many subtleties to mixing these colors perfectly. Maybe I’ll try some two color easier tutorials and come back to this one in the future with better paper
I just discovered your site………loved the tutorial and wish there were more.
This is just magic.
Was that an elephant?
Which paper you are using?
WOW! I was watching with fascination wondering how those colors would make a cloud….then BOOM….there it was….a cloud in the sky! I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation. I’m just starting out. Natural talent like this astounds me. I have zero of it. But I am hoping that with enough of a knowledge base and skill I can eventually approach the paper in such a relaxed manner with water amount, brush size, mixing colors, palette messiness and paper wetness. At this point, I’m Mrs. Hospital Corners in the process. My paper would be in tatters….. starting with the color primer on the paper….brilliant. I’ve done this with acrylic but not watercolor. I also haven’t seen anyone use such large brushes nor staple the paper to the board. I liked it all! THANK YOU, Woody!
Bloody awesome 👏
I also do the “Michael Jordan tongue” myself anytime I’m focusing on anything, especially when I’m painting 😂 Mr. Benton don’t play. That’s years of experience at understanding what’s most important in a painting and how to achieve that effect with the least possible steps. Very straight forward that’s what we all should be trying to achieve and working towards
Ok I need more, soon please
Love it
Can you do more videos please. These are brilliant.
It's pretty realistic
Omg this is so beautifull
Jelly on the moustache?
I have a set of sharp-pointed tweezers at the ready to pick up errant hairs, from my brush to my own head, which keeps my OCD distraction at bay. Some of us cannot tolerate these 《shudder》.
Greetings from Germany.. I like your way of doing Watercolour. I would love to see more of you. Take care.. Gerd B.
Your paper didn't buckle at all! How did you manage that? Lovely painting, I learned a lot about being adventurous in mixing colours 😊
Probably stretched it first. You can see that it is stapled to his board. It’s the only way I know to keep the paper from buckling.
Fabulous sky....
This is one of the better watercolour demo’s by a master of art. A real good lesson and camera work showing all. Thank you
thank you.... amazing
This is an amazing lesson. Wish I watched it 2 years ago. Such a vast amount of crucial tips and eye-opening advices. Thank you.
What a wonderful lesson! Thank you very much!
Best cloud tutorial I've ever watched. Thank you!
Hideous : (
I disagree! Art is subjective and he’s OBvS innately driven to create! His passion alone is enough, but he’s super talented, too! While I understand, appreciate & respect that “we have the right to post any comment we want”, my question/response to this is: why post one worded “opinions” as a “response” without expanding on it or providing a rationale (aka: “the why”)? Doing so may, perhaps, encourage the OP/creator an opportunity to view through a different lens &/or encourages a discussion (aka: “Productive feedback “) Otherwise it’s unintelligible, unnecessary , and obv is pointed & meant to come-off as rude & purposefully trying to be hurtful.
Wow! Your clouds look so creamy. That is hard to do with watercolor 🤩
genial la idea de replantearle el marco, asi ves como queda antes de terminarlo
buen video
I just found you and I love how you play with the colors, lovely sky painting. Subscription is done right now.
This is quite beautiful
Thank you ☺️.
used $500 of watercolor in the process.
Lovely tutorial I’ve been looking for some big brushes like that. What kind are they? Where can I get them? Thanks again for your time. You’re a great artist.
I’ve been looking as well. I’m wondering if they aren’t exclusively watercolor brushes. Maybe a Japanese ink scripting brush? Not sure. Still looking into it
How do you prevent blooms? Gorgeous work!!! 👏🏻
cant wait to see your next video!
Love it ,it’s all I want to paint thanks !!!
Come back!!!❤❤❤
