The main issue lies in a setting within the bios that isn’t commonly talked about. Assuming you’ve already tried basic fixes like bios reset, list disk commands, sfc /scannow, intel RST rapid storage technology driver, etc. This takes little to no time and is worth a ...

    Much appreciated! had an m.2 go dead on me in a AIO asus desktop and after replacing the m.2 nvme it stopped showing any stuff in windows installer and only in bios! I thought I broke it when O opened it up as it was tricky where the M.2 is placed on those AIOs!

    Hey what if you don’t have system agent configuration then what? I’m running a 2023 updated bios or is it meant to by there anyways?

    • @Rojasdrums
      @Rojasdrums Месяц назад

      @@ForbiddenMunkar If the VMD (Volume Management Device) controller option isn't visible in the BIOS because the System Agent Configuration isn't available, you can look for it under different names or sections in the BIOS. Here are some alternate ways that other BIOS setups might list this type of setting: 1. **Advanced Settings**: Check under a more general 'Advanced' or 'Advanced Settings' tab. Some BIOS versions group various settings, including storage and PCIe configurations, under this category. 2. **Peripherals**: Look for a 'Peripherals' section. This area often includes settings related to integrated devices and controllers. 3. **Storage Configuration**: Check under 'Storage Configuration' or 'SATA Configuration'. VMD is related to storage controllers, and these sections might house relevant settings. 4. **PCIe/PCI Configuration**: Look under 'PCIe Configuration' or 'PCI Configuration'. Since VMD is related to managing PCIe storage devices, it might be found here. 5. **Chipset Configuration**: Some BIOS versions might include this setting under 'Chipset Configuration' or 'System Agent Configuration' with a slightly different name. 6. **Boot Configuration**: Occasionally, settings related to storage controllers are placed under 'Boot Configuration' as they can influence boot options. 7. **Integrated Peripherals**: Another common section is 'Integrated Peripherals', where various onboard devices and controllers are listed. 8. **Miscellaneous Settings**: Sometimes, these settings are found under a 'Miscellaneous' or similar section, encompassing various less commonly accessed options. If you can't find the setting in any of these sections, consulting your motherboard's manual or the manufacturer's website for specific BIOS navigation tips can be very helpful.

    FYI Samsung NVMe M.2 even PRO has issues with this CPU and MoBo combo, maybe even others. If you can NOT boot to Windows and instead get BSOD, this is the problem. If you turn off and on your PC a few times it will eventually boot to windows but once you restart it will happen again. Best to buy another ( I suggest SK hynix Platinum P41) and use Samsung for data only or just sell it. Hope this helps.
