Great video and especially the routine, that's very important especially the 12hour sleep. My two are 7:30-1930hrs like clockwork covered up for security and sleep. Nobody mentions the first poo in the mornings 😅😅 yes two big black ones. Mine will not poo in their cage. They spend 10 hours out of the cage, then 20 mins for breakfast and 1 1/2 hrs evening meal. They have approximately 10hrs in the bungalow free range. They are really looked after and really noisey in the mornings.

One of them plucking herself? I have a black headed caique also and he gets very aggressive sometimes when he is hormonal

we had this kind of parrot before but someone killed him just the the other day 🥲💔 he's with us for more than 2 years that's why it's hard to forget him. We give his name Pikoy, we missed him a lot 🥲🥲

Beautiful birds. Caique parrots are definitely high maintenance.

Hey did your caiques got agressive around 3-4 years old ? I really want to get one but I’ve read so many horror stories about them turning into maniacs around that age due to “puberty” (hormones) :/
