    I dont think Morgoth would have any side affects from the One Ring. MORGOTH would mold and over power the ring to his own will. Just like he did to Sauron.

    No one brought up Gil-Galad and Elendil. Even if you throw in Elrond, Cirdan (not sure what they did exactly)and Isildur (the corpse looter) that isn't a lot of warriors against a minor god. And Sauron had the ring at that time. Sauron is extremely dangerous but he isn't invincible. Even at the end of the 3rd age you could probably get enough good elves and men, maybe even some dwarves, to take down Sauron. Of course he is diminished without the ring so Sauron's real power is that no one can get to him. Probably because he doesn't have a great record at 1 v 1.

    Dragons are typical examples of Melkor's evil sub-creations that reflect his destructive nature as a requirement of his nihilistic structure. I believe that after Melkor acquired the Silmarils, he built their spiritual structures with a synergistic incarnation of Silmarils might and his own spiritual power, and thus gave them a kind of free will. Otherwise, how can we explain their ability to perform activities that require high-level cognitive abilities such as performing magic, developing strategies and tactics on the battlefield, applying psychological manipulation on the beings he targeted, and especially how Glaurung first appeared on the battlefield by making decisions without Melkor's permission? I believe that the dragons' attachment to gold (within the scope of this theory) comes from Laurelin (since the light of Laurelin and the light of gold element are in the same region of the electromagnetic spectrum) and that Melkor's will is mostly found in the gold element in Arda.

    In Moria, it is normal for the Balrog to sense Gandalf's presence. Similarly, it is theoretically possible that the Balrog could sense the presence of the One Ring, which was created by a spiritual incarnation of a being (Sauron) of the same species (Maia), and be drawn to it. However, the One Ring cannot affect the Balrog unless the One Ring is willing to change its bearer, and especially unless the Balrog, as a being without the desire for power and domination, desires the event of the One Ring's possession.

    When the witch king died, his body(hroa) all atrophied, his spirit(fea) corrupted by compacts made with Sauron, wearing of his ring, was he denied the promise of Eru to all men(edain)? Upon the demise of first Sauron (mairon) then Saruman(Curumo) their bodies spent, great dark smoke billowed up reaching out towards Valinor, 'then from out of the west a strong wind blew' & they were dissipated their fea doomed to wander, unable to reform their hroa in middle earth. It is difficult to work out whether their fea roam in middle earth or the void all unembodied. The question must be with Tolkien's strong faith, would both Nienna & Mandos have understood the utter domination of Sauron allowing to pass the fea of the witch king unto Eru for his spiritual recombination with the one?

    Balrogs are Maiar who are drawn to Melkor by tuning their tunes to his tune during the performance of the Music of the Ainur. Sauron (Mairon) is a Maia who descended to Arda as a result of Eru realizing the vision of Arda and therefore joined Melkor's side after the Balrogs. While the Balrogs were deeply attached to Melkor to serve him unconditionally due to their status in music, they were on his side from the beginning, and Sauron later joined him because he realized that he had the potential to realize his own ideal more effectively under Melkor's service. Essentially, Melkor is a tool for Sauron to realize his ideal. This is the most fundamental factor that distinguishes Sauron from the Balrogs. While Sauron acts with the ideal of maintaining order, which is the motivation that comes from the nature of his creation, the Balrogs aim to serve Melkor unconditionally and, like Sauron, they do not have any other ideals. Melkor wants to rule over Arda with terror to become its king and he wants to destroy what he cannot rule. In this respect, his ideal is focused on pure destruction and chaos. Sauron's ideal of domination is to manipulate the target being he wants to rule and to ensure that it comes under his control with its consent. Although Melkor and Sauron both have a common ideal in terms of domination, they differ in their methods. For this reason, since the Balrogs were on Melkor's side in the beginning (during the performance of the music), they were corrupted according to his oppressive method. Sauron, on the other hand, has a different nuance around his ideal in terms of domination since he later joined Melkor's side.

    I mean it was extremely well defended given the terrain itself, the toxic fumes in the area. The millions and millions of orcs you’d have to get through just to get to it… then you’d have to fight the pure evil of the ring making it impossible for you to destroy it. What Sauron never planned for was a hobbit. They are so pure of heart that they could resist the power of the ring for a time given they had no inherent desire for power, riches.. etc. Frodo was affected given the amount of time he had the ring. If Sam had taken it he would have been able to throw it. All in all. Frodo and Sam got astronomically lucky. It was like a 1 in a 1,038,937,936,917,287 chance.

  • @TarMody
    @TarMody 6 дней назад

    Regardless of all other factors, I think the root of this issue lies in this. Sauron did not even consider the possibility of the One Ring being destroyed. Because he knew everyone as he did, and this weakened his foresight. It was a result of his corruption in power. He thought that the One Ring would be used against him, especially by the wise men he thought could control it. Sauron, who did not consider the option of destroying the One Ring, saw no reason for him to protect the only place where it could be destroyed. In fact, he did not think that there would be anyone who would have the will to destroy the One Ring.

    When the One Ring is destroyed, Sauron loses his will to reincarnate. He loses his ability to incarnate. His soul is not torn apart, but his access to the part he connected to the One Ring is lost. It is like a kind of spiritual paralysis. We can compare this situation to the following: A person whose limb is paralyzed still has that limb in his body, but he has lost the ability to use it. This is what happens to Sauron spiritually. The spiritual part he did not connect to the One Ring during his incarnation is still with him, and although this part cannot physically interact with the Seen World, theoretically it has the potential to continue to direct the will to a certain extent by penetrating the minds of the beings he targets through ósanwë (a kind of telepathic mental communication). The source of the metaphysical effect underlying the cult formations based on the Blue Wizards that continued their existence after Sauron's fall may be this potential of Sauron. Perhaps it can also be thought that with the destruction of the One Ring, Sauron lost this ósanwë ability and was therefore reduced to an absolutely ineffective being.

    Headcannon: The nameless things are Langoliers from Steven King's book of the same name. They are the foundation of time itself and constant push events forward while utterly destroying the world of the past. If you were to somehow slip the present and be even 1 second into the past they would be there to chew away all matter and substance. Gandalf hints at this by his reference to slipping out of all time during his fight with the Balrog and his description of them gnawing fits as well.

    I like the idea about the Nameless Things and other stuff remain as mysteries of Middle Earth world, HOWEVER they might also imply even LARGER than the Middle Earth universe issues by chance too. It´s so loose end and they´re so at odds with all known, that they made even Eru Iluvatar´s ideas to felt a bit short and out of logic associated with him - though they aren´t Melkor´s plot alterations either way so an eerie THIRD PARTY is involved there!! And well these seems very alien and outer to all henceforth dealing with the cosmic-horror like as Lovecraftian-like lore which is so RICH on its neverending possibilities because breaking up the limits of any world or universe as no central god of moral control is needed to keep going all always sure and still all just keeps going on - untill by chance the true creator [Azathoth] awakes and all ends then.so all efforts are to keep it dreaming ever always - and well that´s a quite more interesting work than the narrow code of ethics of his beliefs not because of invalidating it as a whole for the personal experience of each one or humans, but... because a complementary issue for peace at the very end surrendering into obvlion as truth strucks without unavoidable ways of facts happening it. This possibility makes all more complex and less naive than the system of beliefs on his worldbuilding, but well... it´s just a possibility to thing freely after acknowledging the greater reach of these leakings on his world, calling for respect of it agains virulent canon-fanatics might appeal against to.
