As one of the traditional Chinese wind instruments, Sheng has many unique techniques on its own. This is video is trying to show how some of the techniques work, and the sound effects.
About the instrument:
This ancient Chinese Instrument is called Sheng (笙), mainly translated to Mouth Organ. Unlike organ and harmonica or even Accordion, Sheng is the true free reed instrument. It means the signal reed can be triggered when the player plays both inhalation and exhalation.
