Overall performance is really good. Two things, Kirk played with a dry tone which is unforgiving. There are a few seconds where he finds beautifully melodic lines but rest of the time he is somewhat sloppy. If he were to compose a real solo for this and execute it that would be great.

Listen, y'all! That sharp Dressed Man was already killing it, when Kirk paid his tribute to all that green thing. His solo was Him, expressing Himself, with all the other Metal Gods' approval. It's not Peter, Green only. Check his career with Metallica, for starters, they are quite a mouthful, aren't they!?

That is partly from the bridge pick up being backwards.I had an'82 tobacco sunburst Les Paul with that pick up config....Tone was off the chain!

Apart from Gilmour and Spencer this was a collection of third raters. As far as the worship of Green's guitar is concerned. Gibson representative said , "Peter was adamant that he wouldn't put his name to a guitar (Les Paul) that he didn't like, and said he only got one because he was following Eric as the Bluesbreakers lead guitarist, so felt he needed to be playing a Les Paul. Green also said the neck was like a tree trunk and Clapton's was much better. Jonny Lang's effort must be some of the worst guitar playing I have heard. Like The Jack Bruce tribute, a travesty and an insult.

The best playing I´ve heard from Kirk. Great performance from everyone. I didn´t even know that Judas Priest did a cover. By Judas Priest it was one of my favorites of their songs but I do think this one is even better.

Peter was not a guitarist who only walked around the notes of well-known scales, he created a unique tone, his phrasing came from an ingenie happens to exist only in a few musical giants, his technique, clearity, accuracy was incomparable, a deep pure philosophy shines out from his timeless guitar work, ‘Greeny’ is only an instrument, it roars in the hands of its owner
