@@guidancefortheblind2006. still doesn’t work, it has Android 8.0 and all the apps are up to date, but the operating sistem doesn’t have updates anymore, it’s a pity. I already tried to contact Huawei support and they told me to erase all settings, but as I’m a visually impaired Talkback user I can’t do that. I know that’s an old tablet, but, sadly, this is the only option I have, since I wanted the Galaxy Tab S9 but it’s too expensive for me and I don’t know how well it works with accessibility stuff like Talkback and to read aloud any Web page continually. Thanks a lot for getting back to me

everything is up to date, the Google app, the Chrome browser, and my tablet which stay in Android 8 with no updates. Nobody from Huawei support is willing to help me, and I’ve tried the same troubleshooting steps 800 times with absolutely no luck, and the Google accessibility support is non-existent. Some of these features work only on Android 11 and above, so may be that is the problem.

@@guidancefortheblind2006. Nope. Galaxy tap S series users are reporting the same issue with recent models, and this read aloud feature seems to be available in Android 5 or above. Definitely Google might be locking something to prevent it from working in tablets, whatever it is I’m so frustrated with this
