Hey Everyone!
Welcome to my channel.
I'm swoop_there 🦅 and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I mainly create in Prehistoric Kingdom at the moment. hi :)
You good?
All good, just needed a break. Back soon.
Take a shot every time Swoop says "I suppose".
haha drunk in 5 minutes
Nice video, if they ever add it to the game, I’d suggest doing a walkthrough gallimimus enclosure similar to those walkthrough flamingo enclosure. Or with update 11 now a walkthrough Plateosaurus enclosure.
I’d definitely spend the night there. Though I feel like the roars from the carnivores would wake me up every once in a while.
Bruh where’s the dinosaurs
I genuinely didn’t know a game like this existed (I don’t know how lol) but I am definitely buying this!!
It’s still in early access but available to everyone. It has come such a long way! Still a ways to go. The planning board is on their website. 💛🦅
I love this build, Spino has been my favorite addition to the game so far. The underwater viewing area looks fantastic. Phenomenal work Swoop.💕 I hope we get Deinosuchus or Sarcosuchus in the future.
Thanks so much for your kind comment 😊💛 glad you like it! 🦅
You're welcome ❤️
Brilliant
Thanks Thomas 💛🦅
Glad to hear you realised the habitat is rather small. You could leave this habitat for the Baryonyx, another spinosaur that will come at some point in Early Access and is a few meters shorter. You say no complete specimens of Spinosaurus were ever found and while correct, that doesn't make it unique amongst all non-avian dinosaurs. Only very rarely complete skeletons are found and it is directly tied to the rule that smaller creatures fossilise more easily in one bit than larger animals. In PK so far, Archaeopteryx, Microraptor and Psittacosaurus are the most accurate in terms of body proportions whereas remains of Argentinosaurus are limited to single vertebrae and limb bones. So how do paleontologists get an idea of what the animal might have looked like? They take the bones from animals that they suspect were relatives and fill in the gaps. The particular problem with Spinosaurus itself is that it was exceptionally large with an extraordinary tall sail/spine. The debate sparks from the comparisons to infer behaviour and morphology that are made to animals who might share the same ecological niche, such as crocodiles, wading birds but also hippopotamus: they all live near water and are considered semi-aquatic to some degree but have vastly different body shapes and limitations.
A very comprehensive comment new age 😊🦅
Thanks for the shout out mate! 💚 which spino are you removing? 🤔 it should get "transferred" to your other park
I shall keep the farmed skin here 😂 coz it takes too long to get ‘em! 💛🦅
Loving it , the best youtuber on prehistoric kingdom . Although There are 2 facts that are actually outdated , theyre smaller than trex , as trex is 10 tons , 12 meters and spino is 8 tons and 14 meters ( used to be 17 to 18 meters previously ... ) , they did hunt fish and also other animals as their teeth has been found on fossils of other animals such as a tooth in the spine of a pterosaur , the teeth were not sharp so they were mostly used for catching prey not cutting it as we see with trex and carcharodontosaurus , but rather like crocodiles , of the adaptations they had for catching fish there is their long snout , the location and the shape of their teeth and special ensors found on crocodiles whitch helps them locate prey underwater through the vibrations of the water although spinosaurus wasnt quite stealthy like crocodiles nor were they flexible enough to dive quite deep also studies show they werent quite stable and powerful swimmers , theyre more like grizzly bears preferring fish while not refusing other food as well ( of corse not counting plants ) , it is also a real headache for palaeontologists as it keeps changingits shape as we find more of their remains
Hey night panther! Thanks so much for the comprehensive info. Always happy to learn more 😊 swoop 🦅
Swoop you cave come so far since the alpha park. Nothing you make looks horrible. Thats why i would use prefabs. Also another fact about Spinosaurus. The Spinosaurus is the largest Carnivorous Animal to walk the planet. The running theory is it lived a life style like a crocodile. Eating fish and Ambushing smaller animals.
No more it is , wether something is larger than the other thing scientifically is based on the mass of their body , spinosaurus mass estimates currently are about 8 tons while giganotosaurus mass estimate currently is about 9 tons and the largest carnivore to ever walk on land is trex with estimates of confirmed 10 tons and new bigger specimens recently found and studies publiced that it could grow to 12 tons
@@Ob_li_vi_on Largest in length. And Spinosaurus has a weight of 22 tons.
Thanks so much for your kind comment blackarotplays 💛 lovely to have suck kind followers 🦅🦅✌🏼
@@Blackarotplays the largest found specimen of spinosaurus ( msnm v 4047 also known as the pharaoh ) was 4.4 meters in length and estimated 7500~8000 kilograms , the claim of the 22 ton spinosaurus was from a study from 2007 but in the year 2022 there was a study published that showed the 2007 study had overestimated the size of spinosaurus and up until now there has not been any other studies or claims to deny the study
@@Blackarotplays 22 tons? Where did you get that ridiculos estimate? The largest non sauropod dinosaurs was either edmontosaurus or shantugosaurus and yet they're smaller than paleoloxodon namadicus.
The lighting is so cheifs kiss!
Thanks matey 😊🦅💛
looks really good
Thanks so much!! 💛🦅
Exhibit houses are essential to spice up empty corners in your park, or somewhere along the path towards another enclosure. So I hope you'll do more for different groups of smaller extinct animals. Indeed, redoing an Aquilops habitat next to Acrocanthosaurus would fit really well since the were found in the same geological formation. Perhaps one of the exhibits you could dedicate to basal forms of wasps, bees or butterflies since they started to appear alongside the first flowering plants in the Late Cretaceous. Obviously pollination was essential from the beginning. Also, I don't recall if you generally do the live voiceover just before uploading, but concerning the shadow bug: the devs are working with the distance object models are rendered. From a performance point of view you don't want your computer working to render objects you cannot see. But the rules they set for rendering are rather harsh for many objects since update 8/9, meaning that floor and roof pieces disappear and thus let the sun shine in, or that letters disappear unless you're 4m in front of them. They're working on it though, clearly it's not desirable ;p
Btw if meganeura and meganeuropsis are two different species. Meganeuraopsis was slightly larger :)
I don’t claim to know much about either… but I’m learning 😊🦅
Oh I love bugs! I can spend whole day taking care of them if I can be a keeper of this exhibits! Funny because i thought all Australians are just... you know, used to dealing with big bugs😂 By the way, I have good news and bad news for Arthropleura. Good news is that it isn't a centipede, but a millipede. So it was a vegetarian. Bad news is.... that it isn't 3 feet long but 3 METERS LONG. It's about... 10 feet I guess? 😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂 that makes it even WORSE. You can be the keeper here. I’ll stay well away 💛🦅
@@swoopthere Yeah, 3-meter-long bug feels like something crawled out of Starship Troopers movie🤣
Great build! Your descriptions for the bugs had me dying 😂 you could do a podcast talking about how much you don’t like prehistoric bugs and I would listen to every episode!
😂 glad you were entertained Brodey. The research for this one definitely had me frozen a few times. Thanks for commenting! 💛🦅
We have an arthropleura and meganura* statue in the game why not shrink them down and put them in the house? (Or am I blind and missed it - i'll be honest you're on my other monitor in the background)
You’re not blind. Not missed it. 😂 hey I appreciate you listening/watching! Thanks for your support 💛🦅
Another amazing build (as long as I don't think too hard about what might be inside!). You could maybe add a beelzebufo enclosure - they were a sort of giant frog that reached either 20ish or 40ish cm depending on which paleontologist you ask :D Or! omgosh I just found these and they are perfect! Steropodon - which were a kind of prehistoric platypus!
Ooooh the steropodon are perfect for an upcoming episode 💛🦅 thanks so much for commenting and supporting!
You'd never catch me working in a prehistoric insect house. (For one, I have a phobia of Centipedes) However, if I had a job in a prehistoric park, I'd be something like a Herbivore Herder. Driving on a Quad bike escorting herds of Hadrosaurs or even Sauropods to areas of the park. (Not so much Ceratopsians, they don't like the noise of the vehicles) Love to see you coming back with more content and always looking forward to the next episode(s).
Hehe I’d be the same! We can work together 🦅💛 thanks for commenting!!
It looks amazing! You could add something like a tank for an Anomalocaris. I think you could make it look convincing with the blue glass pane behind the normal glass wall. And you could add those figures of those animals from the workshop. 😄
Oooh a swimming one hey? Might be another episode around this type of thing soon 😏thanks for commenting! 🦅💛

Thanks Brodey! Always good to see you here. Hmmm water hey? 😉 might be something coming up soon 🖤🦅
Lovely seeing regular vids from you! Looking back at the Coelophysis habitat I notice two things: the building style for the fences and viewing points is a bit more rustic than the recent modernistic structures; and the foliage is exclusively desert. The first thing is not something you have to change at all, but is nice to create some continuity between habitats that are finished and new ones: it makes building for new creatures easier too ´cause you have the pieces there already. The second thing is rather important in my opinion to ground this park in a real ecosystem: I see some creators house animals of very different biomes next to each other with their original requirements and it just looks weird to see redwoods next to palm trees next to saguaro cacti. So nailing down a consistent flora palette is not necessarily overly restrictive: uncommon plants can be given focal points for being exotic and well looked after, just like one of the animals!
Hey NewAge, I always appreciate your comments. Hehe yeah I get it regarding the plants but things look kinda crap without them. I struggle in the desert biome so this park is going to be rather small - in fact I’m nearly finished it ☺️ (future episodes already built for) I’m looking forward to jumping into the new map despite it being the same as Fercola. chat soon, Swoop 🖤🦅
It's why some players wished there were some more plants in the desert biome that resembled blooming flowers for the few moments it naturally rains. Easier to imagine those in a garden-intensive park. Or just use thousands of rocks haha. Excited to see your next park too, whenever it comes. Are you saying you won't use the new Canada boreal map then?
@@NewAge374 oh no. I’m definitely… definitely not saying that. 😏🦅
Ouranasaurus ( brave lizard) Ouranosaurus is a genus of herbivorous basal hadrosauriform dinosaur that lived during the Aptian stage of the Early Cretaceous of modern-day Niger and Cameroon. and they are so cool and awesome habitat for them
