After an amazing camp on top of the Long Mynd I realised my campervan would struggle to get me back down in the blizzard conditions. The journey down would have me drive down a very steep and narrow road with a drop off at the steepest part. I was definitely a little scared. Join me on this short adventure.

May be worth extra guys either side on door panels. Add no weight but gain a lot of strength 👌🏽💪🏽
@@stevebennett6727 Great idea, I might give that a go next time the wind picks up.
Thinking of doing this within the next week and taking in Carnedd Dafydd aswell. Might choose this decent
That descent can get quite boggy near the bottom. Hope you have a great day.
Hello sir
@@fnekalub1076 Hi Kalub 👍
Hudson and I loved watching! Train was a hit lol!
Awesome!
I camped on the Mynd the other month 👍🏻
@@HikingAd-Ventures It's a great spot. Hope you had better burgers than I did.
Great vid as usual
@@CLM27707 Cheers Cam 👍
Colour of that water 😍
Good vid
"remote area" ...in the UK? Yeah, ok. 😂 Hope the extraction wasn't too painful. I recently picked up a Mongar 2 for US$93 that I think is just a no-brainer.
@@bradl2636 Remote for the UK. Great tent
Pen roose esav. I love staying here. It was my go to place for a while.
Thank you for cleaning up the site❤ I'm about to pull the trigger on this tent for cooler weather😊
@@whittjl67 Thanks hope you enjoy it.
@outdoorgaz5 I think I will. It'll be here tomorrow, but we are still close to 90F in the Midwest States. I'm excited though! It'll be enough room for me and my 80 lb. German Shepherd😊
@@whittjl67 It's dropping below 50 here already so I'm looking forward to colder camps. Enjoy your adventures.
Have you got the link for the tent? They sell the forest green rain fly but it doesn’t look as dark as that one is

Which circular walk is this, is it an easy walk... Which carpark?
Nice video and thanks for sharing. I am trying to find out whether to get this or the star river. I got the cloud up for motor biking trips.
@@wigevi I've not tried the Star River. Thanks for watching
We still use an old school meths stove. It was my girlfriend's grandma's and she refuses to ever part with it. I like it to be fair, takes a bit longer but what's the rush eh?
And it's silent. Thanks for watching and such a nice comment.
Great RUclips clip guy's thank you My self and wife have not long purchased a 3 man version. For trips down the river and for fishing. Must admit this canoe Is FANTASTIC. Thanks again for you time ♥️👍
Do the midges stay outside?
Did u have to re apply the DWR ?
@@mjbucheeri We haven't yet.
Adding to the comment about not having fires, whether its a permanent one (there should be a stone ring for a fire and also have water/sand or something near by to put it out if it is) or not. THE FACT ITS STILL SMOKING WHEN YOU'VE ARRIVED THERE SHOWS HOW IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE ARE WITH FIRES! A little wind and the right conditions and thats a wild fire that'll be out of control putting people, wildlife and the fire fighters who have to deal with it all at risk! I for one don't agree with having fires, its against the wildcamping guidelines as it does leave a trace. However, this isn't an attack at you (even though I don't agree with the fire), thank you for taking the rubbish of the previous irresponsible idiots.
Where you pointed at snowdon, is nowhere near mate. Yo got Barmouth right and where you pointed is the southern Rhinogs. Great video. I did a recce 10 days ago and its a really hard walk because you lose a lot of height and then have a really hard route finding (especially in fog) last push to the summit. Took me 4 hours with only photo stops. Well done you 2❤
Thanks Jules. Hope you had as much funas us.
Really good to watch, hope you still doing more mountains,
@@shanedean8762 Thanks Shane. We have a whole playlist of mountains hope you enjoy.

I tried this twice the first time I got to Fort Augustus and had to give up the wind on loch ness was the killer . Second time got about as far as you did there . I'll maybe try again in September

I was wondering how you pulled off the @3:11 timelapse exactly? Looking sweet!
@@eladbari I used the night lapse feature on the gopro and added some of the sounds of the fire and nature. Glad you enjoyed it.
@@outdoorgaz5 Lookin' great! I forgot about my GoPro 3 or 4 already, but turned out pretty psychedelic! Gonna go on an 8 day hike soon after years I hadn't. Seeing how you place this pad below your tent [which I do not have or plan to carry]- makes me worry a bit about the Forclaz MT500 air mattress I'm taking. Worried how much those things could get punctured. if easily or not...
@@eladbari Take some repair patches just in case. Happy adventures.
Looks great! Just purchased the same boat refurbished from decathalon for 69 quid! Excited to get her out on the water. Love decathalon products and amazing aftercare.
