    Stop the drama, he’s not cutting social security. It’s needs to be changed to survive, I think everyone can agree on that. No taxes on social security, tips or overtime. If he can reduce government spending maybe he can actually get rid of income taxes. Let’s start with the Dept of Education and move to the IRS, they do nothing but keep people stupid and broke.

      @@master-oppressor Lol, I’m sure you are always perfect with your proofreading, but as a retired English teacher, I do not proofread one-off comments because I am trained to type very accurately. Unfortunately, the AI of spellcheck leaves something to be desired as it often cuts off my endings and contractions which it obviously did in this case. By the way, you misspelled my name, but I’d never had pointed it out because I knew who you meant; the irony was too rich to ignore.

Not to mention even with everything going the same we will run out of social security money in 2034 so maybe instead of giving our money to the government so they can send it to illegals and Ukraine we should just keep all our social security tax money our selfs

    Seriously? NOT Helpful!!! Question 20 - I was under the impression you were going to help people understand the social security questionnaire. The explanation you give to question number 20 leaves so much to be desired. Are you kidding me? Seriously? If you didn't understand it, then say do. We can look up what you told us, so this is not helpful. What is all that supposed to mean? Why act like you're going to help and then waste my time with an explanation like that?

    • @atticus_legal
      @atticus_legal 2 дня назад

      Thank you for your feedback-we understand your frustration. Regarding Question 20, the Social Security Administration has very strict requirements for qualifying as legally blind, and applicants must meet these specifications exactly as outlined in the SSA Blue Book. Below is an article that further explains the SSA’s definition and eligibility requirements for blindness, along with examples. We hope this provides clarity! www.atticus.com/advice/conditions-that-qualify-for-disability/is-blindness-a-disability-how-to-qualify-for-disability-benefits

    • @limsalalafells
      @limsalalafells 13 дней назад

      The number of credits necessary to meet the recent work test depends on your age. The rules are as follows: Before age 24 - You may be eligible if you have 6 credits earned in the 3-year period ending when your disability starts. Age 24 to 31 - In general, you may be eligible if you have credit for working half the time between age 21 and the time your disability began. As an example, if you develop a disability at age 27, you would need 3 years of work (12 credits) out of the past 6 years (between ages 21 and 27). Age 31 or older - In general, you must have at least 20 credits in the 10-year period immediately before your disability began.

    Wealthy people take advantage of it. Mitt Romney's state has been getting it since 2006. A few other mormon states too. All the while the peasants in America get propaganda that Universal Healthcare is bad. But the peasants pay taxes for the wealthy to get free healthcare. They all have been screwing us over and killing us for years.

    Question, I haven't worked to much in my life due to sickness, but I have worked the last 6 years pretty much before I got disabiled. So do i mostly still qualify? Its not even that I don't want to work, I just can't.

    • @atticus_legal
      @atticus_legal 25 дней назад

      That'd likely be enough - but it would depend on your hours and tax history. One surefire way to check is to create an ssa.gov account. Once you're up and running there, it'll take you to a dashboard that shows your eligibility, and estimates your future check size.

      Ha - understand the discretion :). But the good news is that disability payments generally go *up* year over year. Since the 1970s, the SSA has implemented a "Cost of Living Adjustment" annually. There were three years on record where benefit payments stayed flat - but every other year, benefit recipients have seen their payments go up!
