great info to have ,What does it mean when your case goes back to the field office on a initial of level 3?
It's not impossible They aquire stolen or falsified documents Don't bullshit these people
Perhaps if Social Security benefits were invested by people who know wtf they're doing we wouldn't have to tax our money AGAIN.
Stop the drama, he’s not cutting social security. It’s needs to be changed to survive, I think everyone can agree on that. No taxes on social security, tips or overtime. If he can reduce government spending maybe he can actually get rid of income taxes. Let’s start with the Dept of Education and move to the IRS, they do nothing but keep people stupid and broke.
I think he could not care less about SSI recipients and will only do what is good for himself and his rich buds/donors/co-conspirators.
Laura, in English, saying you can care less means you truly do care. Please learn our language.
@@master-oppressor Lol, I’m sure you are always perfect with your proofreading, but as a retired English teacher, I do not proofread one-off comments because I am trained to type very accurately. Unfortunately, the AI of spellcheck leaves something to be desired as it often cuts off my endings and contractions which it obviously did in this case. By the way, you misspelled my name, but I’d never had pointed it out because I knew who you meant; the irony was too rich to ignore.
I think he could care less about SSI recipients and will only do what is good for himself and his rich buds/donors/co-conspirators.
It should not be taxed we worked to put the money in it it should be tax free. Over time should not be taxed tips shpuld not be taxed
TRUMP 2024!!!! MAGA!!!
I think it's great!
Trump baby 2024baby 🎉🎉🎉🎉
That's his plan defund
I don't believe a goddamn word any of you say!
Great because we already paid taxes on this. Stop giving our tax dollars to illegals and refugees our social security. Make them work like the rest of us. Put 300 back in my check.
Great information!!!
I’d rather not pay into social security all together and invest that money on my own
I think when Elon runs the Bureau of Efficiency we will eliminate redundant departments thus lowering the cost of doing business for the federal government. Waste is a bigger issue than the costs associated with eliminating taxes from SS.
Why would you need to be taxes on taxed money? Not to mention even with everything going the same we will run out of social security money in 2034 so maybe instead of giving our money to the government so they can send it to illegals and Ukraine we should just keep all our social security tax money our selfs
I think they will spend that money and it will be taxed always
I think everything you just said was a lie spun by the left.
DJT Executive Order 13818 Incomming. Get out the way, Boule Bitsh😂
Yeah my local lawyers said no thank you. I applied by myself, and have gone through the denial, and appeal, 2nd denial, and now i have a hearing scheduled in 2 weeks. So im really hoping i get approved. Im a 100% disabled veteran and i know its different requirements.
Hope you get it. Best of luck to you, brother 🙏
I applied and waiting for the answer. If denied finding a job. Don’t have patience for it

And this states denied you the fastest also.
My therapists and other providers have been trying to get me to do this for decades. Any tips to help a depressed ADHDer who can't remember to pee start a symptom journal?
The problem with hiring an attorney is they will drag it out to get a larger percentage on your back pay. Unfortunately if i get denied i will have to hire one
One dollar for every freckle
That’s diabolical
Obama allowed people to get disability for mental health claims. Thats the same as many drunks and junkies.
Seriously? NOT Helpful!!! Question 20 - I was under the impression you were going to help people understand the social security questionnaire. The explanation you give to question number 20 leaves so much to be desired. Are you kidding me? Seriously? If you didn't understand it, then say do. We can look up what you told us, so this is not helpful. What is all that supposed to mean? Why act like you're going to help and then waste my time with an explanation like that?
Thank you for your feedback-we understand your frustration. Regarding Question 20, the Social Security Administration has very strict requirements for qualifying as legally blind, and applicants must meet these specifications exactly as outlined in the SSA Blue Book. Below is an article that further explains the SSA’s definition and eligibility requirements for blindness, along with examples. We hope this provides clarity! www.atticus.com/advice/conditions-that-qualify-for-disability/is-blindness-a-disability-how-to-qualify-for-disability-benefits
Wrong.
The number of credits necessary to meet the recent work test depends on your age. The rules are as follows: Before age 24 - You may be eligible if you have 6 credits earned in the 3-year period ending when your disability starts. Age 24 to 31 - In general, you may be eligible if you have credit for working half the time between age 21 and the time your disability began. As an example, if you develop a disability at age 27, you would need 3 years of work (12 credits) out of the past 6 years (between ages 21 and 27). Age 31 or older - In general, you must have at least 20 credits in the 10-year period immediately before your disability began.

This is not to say it is a hand out. It is still earned. I just don't want people believing they can't receive their earned and necessary benefits because they have not worked for 10 years yet.
Your not disabled if your medical health has improved.......... The only definition that matters.. 6 years reding ssi definitions.. cancer / remission .... No lawyer. Only GOD . 200 days after i seen that one sentence. ... 🏴☠️
My neighbor, collect disability benefits from Social Security, and he only worked nine months where they took out his whole life
My neighbors drawn, Social Security disability benefits, and he worked nine months where he paid in his whole goddamn life
Soooo, you should then be able to draw SSDI as well as the spousal support you're entitled to as a result of your loved ones death.
Does income limit counted the applicant income or couples income?
It depends on the program! For SSI - both you and your spouse's income is considered. For SSDI, only your income from working is counted. We know it can be kind of confusing. We have an article that breaks it down! www.atticus.com/advice/general/all-about-amounts-how-much-will-i-make-on-ssi-or-ssdi
what help me i got judge that used meltdown at the SSA office... and then ignored everything from when i was under 18 .... SSI is just joke it shouldnt take years OH and they used the fact i tried to work as reason to not grant SSI
Let’s not forget that it’s almost intended to be designed to deny you disability at any cost. Especially if you have a mental disability where our current way of helping people with their mental disabilities in the mental health field is to hide them.
Self employment is better just make sure you are not managing anything even if you were not working I know people who still file self-employment taxes so that way they can at least earn credits in years they don't work
Wealthy people take advantage of it. Mitt Romney's state has been getting it since 2006. A few other mormon states too. All the while the peasants in America get propaganda that Universal Healthcare is bad. But the peasants pay taxes for the wealthy to get free healthcare. They all have been screwing us over and killing us for years.
Question, I haven't worked to much in my life due to sickness, but I have worked the last 6 years pretty much before I got disabiled. So do i mostly still qualify? Its not even that I don't want to work, I just can't.
That'd likely be enough - but it would depend on your hours and tax history. One surefire way to check is to create an ssa.gov account. Once you're up and running there, it'll take you to a dashboard that shows your eligibility, and estimates your future check size.
@@atticus_legal thats all true for SSDI but you left out SSI which is only $700/m and they make jump insane hoops and used turn people down for dumbest reasons including using your disability against you or that you even TRIED to work
True & factual. But almost everyone knows someone who is milking the system, flat out lying. Mostly they get discovered & payments stop. But it really frustrates those of us who don’t commit fraud.
Thank christ i live in a developed country
SO I just started the process with you guys not long ago, I just wanna ask cause I didn't in the email how long does it generally take with you guys help based on your past cases?
I'm not answering this so the govt can just decide how much to lower it by for the next 10 years lol
Ha - understand the discretion :). But the good news is that disability payments generally go *up* year over year. Since the 1970s, the SSA has implemented a "Cost of Living Adjustment" annually. There were three years on record where benefit payments stayed flat - but every other year, benefit recipients have seen their payments go up!
I only get 1 000 3 dollars a month from disability I have been receiving disability since 1991 something not right I can't work it's not enough to live on with no other income I do get a food card for 200 a month but social security office told me I'm getting exactly what I am supposed to I don't understand how they expect us to live

I feel like we should be able to sue the SSA
You can
I receive $1,017 monthly. I waited 5 years to receive it and on my second appeal I was approved. I only received 4 months back pay. I missed 5 years of employment and I only worked 3 months in the ten years that they came up with a figure. Not fair! Not ENOUGH TO LIVE ON. 😢
