Rewarding failure is a bad way to do it. Teams literally race to the bottom. Should be a lottery.

There are also compensatory picks which teams get for losing free agents above a certain pay grade, and those are tacked on to the end of each round (I believe) but I understand why those were skipped.

Get your facts straight buddy, there was 254 players drafted in 2000, the complete seven round and many compensatory drafts picks were chosen after Tom Brady!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

There were not 200 players in that draft. There was a whole other round after him.

I have been to close to a dozen Masters golf tournaments . I think on my last visit, maybe twelve years ago, I shelled out about a buck fifty for a really tasty sandwich and maybe three bucks for an ice cold bottled beer poured in a cup. Maybe even less. The following weekend I attended the Heritage golf tournament at Harbor Town Golf Links on HHI, SC. I think it cost me five dollars for a hot dog on a dry, stale bun., lol. A foamy, somewhat cold draft beer set me back at least five bucks. I realize you have to cover expenses and make a little money to survive but the contrast was almost comical.

You left out that winners qualify to play as long as they wish. The grounds crew repairs (with fresh turf) every divot every night.

the elite don't do things for money...they already have all the money. they do things to show how 'elite' they are. someone should investigate the amount of homeless, and destitute around augusta, ga...and then ask, 'what do these brilliant people do with all their money and influence?' the answer...build bigger barriers, tighten security, limit interaction. yes, let's all praise the good folks at augusta national.

The Masters can remain a tour event, but it needs to lose its status as a major. It consistently has the weakest field of all the majors and its removal would make room for The Players, which is a TRUE major, attracting one of the toughest fields year after year!!!

All I can say is they have a lot of grass to mow, trees to trim, and azaleas to plant. Hey, they HAVE to do it right... and that takes $$$$$!!

I think a lot of people will only get a ticket for one day so everyday the merchandise building is packed. You can count on it taking 45 min just to get into the building virtually any time all week. Getting tickets is very difficult so it's many peoples first and only time they will be there so everyone raids the merch

Have you been to Dubai? Courses are painted green. Hilton head, same thing, Florida, same. The amount if water needed to constantly feed that amount of grass in every spot is ridiculous. The wildlife idk….they can’t afford to be near the course
