The Buckinghamshire policemen was from the Aylebury Police station and try to push the train to Bedfordshire. The trlal was from the Buckinghamshire country council building not the Aylebury Court.

My dads side of the family lived in the east end for all there life, I've heard many stories about what life was like back then. However what has always stood out to me were the stories of the Krays. My great nan used to baby sit them when she was in her 30s and my grandad used to go into The Carpenters Arms with his mates, they were skint so the Krays used to buy them drinks for free. Alot of people view them as evil, and don't get me wrong they were bloodthristy and vicious to anyone who wronged them. My grandad told me they were nice to good people, but absoute tyrants to anyone that opposed them. They never toutched women or children either.

theres also a plaque to him in poplar high street, the old wing of the college hitchcock studied in is still there and now part of new city college.

ive always been fascinated by this story, I live a few minutes from his house and pass it most days, makes me sad that the house is not in the best of ways and has no blue plaque. always wonder if the owners know the story of the house.

I'm an ex-steeplejack and used to work on the Chimney at the back of Rillington Place, I think it was called the Peerless Laundry. It can be seen in many pics of Rillington Place. One day my mate Johnny Bell and I Looked in the back Garden of Christies and there was an old mongrel dog scratching at the ground. It sent a shiver up our spines.

Yeah the fight happened outside the brown bear pub but Charlie Richardson was also there and hit the poof ( Ronnie ) from behind knocking him to the ground Cornell then kicked him in the chest and said on ya feet you poof Ronnie said he will fight him in a weeks time but Cornell was having none of it and with that sat on him punching him numerous times to the head and body while abusing him He made Ronnie look like a little kid Ronnie was fuming and feared he lost all cred That’s the reason Ronnie shot him in the blind beggar and I know this story I’m posting is true as George Cornell was my cousins grandad

Not a very iconic ending. For Frank to have no place of real peace for his memory and ashes is sad for a man who was a part of British Gangster history ..also the Cemetery really needs some up keep, its been allowed to fall apart.. the grounds keeper needs to do a better job..

I met Frankie when he came into our shop in Bethnal green road it was a few days before one of the Krays funeral he had gone into the Marquis of Cornwallis pub to finalise the details for the wake. He was a big man and I actually found him to be very polite, but I wouldn't like to have got on the wrong side of him.
