ALEXIS BLEDEL bothers me to no end because, this girl is nothing but your typical wanna-be liar that claims and ethnicity/race that she has zero part of!!! she is not ethnically or by nationality Hispanic/Latina…not even 1%!!!! She is a white woman! I’ve known she been throwing these lies for many years and I never understood why she hasn’t ever been outed for her fake claims and LIES about being a Latina! She still has most people today believing her lies and being fooled about her true ethnic background and her nationality being that she was American born and raised. She lies veryyy carefully and leaves out specific details about who and what she really is. If you listen to the way she tells “her story” she is very strategic. She always addresses and speaks on where her parents are from & their birth places but conveniently seems to leave out the fact that both of her parents are ethnically 100% white with not a single drop of Latin blood and that they are Latino/Latina only by nationality…which would make their American born daughter, Alexis Bledel, a white woman…that is not Hispanic/Latina in any way, shape or form…end of story…period! and the only reason she looks so white is because that is EXACTLY what she is!!!She goes around telling whoever she can that she is a “Latina” and she pushes her very specific narrative by withholding certain details about herself to lead people into believing that she is in fact a proud Latina woman…apparently what she so desperately wants to be…BUT…She is NOT…at all! These kinds of people realllly bother me SOO much because they know exactly what they are doing and are very aware that are just lying through their teeth and they have no shame about it! Similar to the way “Hilaria” Baldwin led people to believe that she was a Spanish woman born in Spain. She too, was very careful to not give specific details about her true identity so she could keep up her facade, claim her place and benefit from the immense support of the Hispanic community in the United States and keep people believing that she was in fact a true Hispanic woman . I don’t understand this need these people in Hollywood have, to lie because they feel entitled to something that doesn’t belong to them. Yes, true, that Alexis’ parents taught her Spanish and yes, she does speak Spanish very well and the cultures her parents grew up in were probably very much a part of her own upbringing. That alone is a great story but that’s all it is, you don’t just become Hispanic/ Latina now because of your upbringing and think you can now consider yourself these ethnicities and races. I just cannot understand why it isn’t enough to be who they really are and the need to lie, fabricate and make yourself into a person you think other people find more interesting/ exotic!!! When people have addressed her appearance and how “white” she looks, she just stays silent and smiles instead of speaking on the truth…the truth being that she is truly a white woman! She lets these people go on saying that she is just a beautiful example of one of those Hispanic women that proves to everyone else that we all come in many different colors…she stays purposefully silent when she has these interactions and NEVER states the FACT that she is 100% white and that’s the simple reason she looks white!!! She stays silent & lets people believe that that’s just the way her Latina genes came out. This is disgusting! I can’t stand liars! If she wants to claim a part in the Hispanic community in the U.S., I think most other Hispanics would find absolutely no problem with that and would agree that she does have a place there but don’t go around claiming an ethnicity that you have no blood in & calling yourself a Latina and not being truthful about who you are and why you look the way you do! I remember watching some interview and in this interview she was just meeting America Ferrera for the first time. I remember she told America Ferrara that she was Latina and America Ferrara was so shocked and said, “ What? Omg, I thought you were Irish or something like that” Alexis AGAIN stayed silent, when she should have told her the truth that she looks Irish because she is Irish, she is NOT a Latina but was raised in the Hispanic culture so she feels a close connection with the Hispanic community. BUT NOOOOO, she let America Ferrara continue to believe she was a fellow Latina!! 🙄 Lastly, I also think she embellishes her parents story. She has claimed that both of her parents were born in these Latin American countries and they were born and raised there and those specific cultures and language is all they know. I then saw an interview where her mom was there and when she spoke, there wasn’t absolutely no accent, not even a small hint of an accent! If the Hispanic culture is the only culture that her parents ever knew and experienced then why don’t either of her parents have even a tiny accent and why would a person that has only been raised and immersed in this Latin American country and no no other way or lifestyle go on to name their children the very NOT SPANISH names that they chose…Alexis and her brother Brendan … seems very sus to me

Christina Aguilera didn't grow up with her Spanish-spaking father, so of course she doesn't speak it fluently now. Also, like a lot of other kids trying to fit in, Selena Gomez stopped speaking Spanish because she didn't want her friends to think she was weird when she was a kid. So, she can understand Spanish, but she can't speak it well. Leave them alone.

Thank you for creating this type of content. As a white latin american myself living in the USA people get stunned when they learn that a white person can speak spanish and be from Argentina. I don't understand how folks in the USA think that someone must look a certain way to speak a language.
