this is seriously impressive driving.
Great car control! However, I wouldn't say it's real life initial D. The level of skill displayed in this anime is, as far as I can tell, higher than anyone that actually exists in real life. For example, you use a very quick and controlled handbrake entry and probably wouldn't just dive into a sharp downhill double apex corner with a braking drift or 3-2 shift lock. Takumi is just not human.
