what do you use to make music..? I wanna get into making music but it seems expensive and hard
well, i use fl studio to make music, but there are plenty of cheaper or free alternatives. you would have to do some research yourself, but from what ive seen, lmms seems kinda similar to fl studio, and its completely free. as for plugins, in this song i mainly used a plugin called zenology. the best alternatives i can recommend to that are soundfonts (which are free) and maybe the program sforzando, which is used to load .sfz sound banks, which are also free most of the time. you can get soundfonts from the musical artifacts website, or other places. theres also a website called "pianobook" which has a bunch of libraries for a sampler called "decentsampler", and you can sort by the free libraries. they have a lot of high quality stuff. anyways, just know that if you do some searching, you can find a lot of good free stuff. additionally, if you know how to be safe and NOT get viruses, you can turn to... less than legal methods. this comes with risks of course, and if you do this i recommend you make SURE that your sources are trustworthy. its difficult finding safe websites to download audio plugins and DAWs. as for the difficulty of making music, just know that when you start out, your music probably isnt gonna be that good. like, at all. but dont let that stop you!! the only way to get better at making music is to make more music!! just know that you wont become super good overnight, obviously. there are many skills to learn as a music producer, so just take your time and dont try to rush things. i hope this helps!!

Ive been actually rewatching this video repeatedly all week. I'm not exaggerating when i say this is a genuinely good song and would love a full length version. You do this style in a way that really captures the vibes perfectly and i hope you explore this sound more in the future
