2 Day Trip in the Roof Top Tent | Rainbow Falls w/ Family & Friends
Просмотров 4163 года назад
I'm glad I finally was able to get this camping trip uploaded! This happened in late spring/early summer. This wasn't one of our typical overland trips, but it was awesome to hang out with our new friends and family for a couple days. I want to also add that I've definitely gotten better at filming camp trips since this took place haha, and there are more to come. I still have lots to edit. In ...

Installing and previewing my new Mountain Hatch Tailgate Insert. This specific Mountain Hatch was won in a giveaway by my wife, although we had been planning on buying one anyway! It's a quick install and definitely changes the way we can use the back of our truck. Especially nice since we cook dinner on it every single time we camp! My wife's new (to her) 2012 Toyota Tacoma has some microscopic size rust spots all over the outside, along with some larger spots near the windows. From what we've heard, this product should help almost completely eliminate those spots! Today we are looking at CarPro Iron X! Take a quick look and see if you're as impressed as we were. Tepui Roof Top Tent Review | 1 Year After Purchase

I've wanted to shoot this video for such a long time. I couldn't find exactly what content I was looking for when we were considering purchasing this tent, and I want to make sure no one else has that problem! Our specific tent is the Kukenam Sky 3, but this should be applicable to almost any soft top Tepui RTT (minus hard shell and ruggedized models). This Roof Top Tent Review should hopefully...

What kind of zipper issues were you having on the cover? Mine has jammed a few times on the blue part (the underside/bottom half of the cover zipper assembly) and that part has been torn up a good bit as a result. I've lubed the zipper to try to make that less likely but not sure it's helping.

Great review Noah, better than most. I just wanted to add a tip or two. That moisture on you inner tent walls in the morning, ... that's condesation from your exhaled breath and vapour from your body heat etc. If you open up those roof skylights, and all windows and doors so that the screens are closed but the closures are partially open, that will go a long way to preventing much of that vapour from condensing on the inside of your tent. The colder it it is outside, and thus the colder the surface (tent walls) that your breath etc. is contacting, the worse the condensation problem will be, (ie. in cold weather and/or winter camping you will battle indoor rain, frost and ice in the tent overnight). The other point I noticed is when you opened the tent up with the ladder, if you extend that ladder all the way you have a much longer lever to pull down on easing the unfolding effort. then once half open, walk away from the tent pulling the unfolding half past 'top-dead-centre' and then gravity works in your favour the rest of the way before shortening the ladder. There is also lots of good available accessories such a iPhone/iPad mounts that clamp to those frame bars inside and LED light strips that can hang from the bars, a 12-volt car battery in the back of your truck bed with a solar panel trickle charger sitting on the cab to keep all electronics going, can add some nice entertainment and ambience if you are waiting out the weather up there. Thx for the video and enjoy the roof top camping.

Are those bungee cords on the inside permanent? When being in use, can you undo them for more comfort? Or do they have to be attached at all times?

Would love an update on your holster set up over the last 3 years since this video. I started with a TRex arms side car 2.0 when i switched guns and positions. After 8 months it’s broken. They were lightning fast with the replacement no questions asked. But looking to upgrade. I like the idea of ditching the mag when not needed. Bravo config for sure. Thanks for a great video on the subject.

I wad almost gonna get one if the ozark in case of a power outage etc in winter but I have seen the lifetime 28 and 55 quarts do well in reviews also. I have been looking for a review in nIcehard rotor molded cooler or campers as well for cost wise yeti and rtic are well too but soooo expensive. but there have been some igloo coolers too that finally have the lid gasket I want yo see how reviews go as well realize use to compare the ice test and etc so hopefully something will come that would be awesome to have on hand in case but yea showing it used for camping was a real user as for the ice melting for camping awesome

Mini Solar Ti; You can steplessly dim down a bulge and all other hungry electricity consumers with a 5000W dimmer (7, EUR). I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Kettle 2.2KW at 150W runs 12 hours a day, so the water is always hot. The room is also nicely heated. 2.5KW washing machine runs in parallel with dimmed to 200...400W. Iron, dishwasher, oven, electric heater, coffee machine, all internal heating are throttled with me. Videos about it on my channel ruclips.net/video/eC2olbCBhh0/видео.html The inverter stays cool, quiet and the MOSFETs remain intact because extreme current peaks no longer arrive at the inverter. Now every Mini PV Inverter is enough to sell large devices...
