Journey to the Benwood a Florida Keys Shipwreck Adventure
Join us as we take a look at the shipwreck SS Benwood!
Norwegian merchant freighter Benwood on the night of 9 April 1942. She was on a routine voyage from Tampa Bay, Florida to Norfolk, Virginia carrying a load of phosphate rock the same evening as the Robert C. Tuttle.
Due to the threat of attack by German U-boats in the area, the two ships were completely blacked out, each keeping the Florida coastal lights three miles abeam (Benwood) and one and a half miles abeam (Robert C. Tuttle). It is reported that at 12:45 a.m. the Robert C. Tuttle sighted a black object ahead of the ship and turned starboard after signaling "I intend to turn starboard." with one blow of the ship's whistle. There w...

Scuba Tip: Cleaning A Rusty Dive Knife With Vinegar!
Hey, that's a nice jar of dirt. Lol you mind if I share this video.
Go ahead!
@@FindingTheDive cool thank you, I hope yall find more of our jars.
Very cool!
Thank you, we had an amazing day. Stay tuned I'm working on the spring video now.
Great video! I may just try to make one! How many battery packs do I need for 24Ah?
Thank you for the kind words. As far as your question, That will depend on the Ah capacity of the cells you plan on using. This can be found on the datasheet for the batteries. In the video, I used 4 groups of 2 cells. Each cell was 4.2V @ 3Ah, This gave me a voltage of 16.8V @ 6Ah. So if I wanted a higher capacity pack, let's say 12Ah. I would use 4 groups of 4 cells each. There are 3 main factors to remember when building a battery pack. 1: The cut-off voltage of each cell. (Most 18650 cells have a safe voltage range between 2.8V - 4.2V.) 2: Total usable capacity of the pack. (This is done by multiplying the capacity of each cell by the number of cells in the group.) 3: The total current draw needed +10% for safety margin. (This is also multiplied by each cell in the group.) I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions. Keith.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
I must admit that lobster was tasty 😁
Living the best life
Hahahaha great commentary for this shot!!

Thank you for the video and the map... a few years later I hope it's still accurate we're going there this weekend..

Thank you, I plan on posting a map location on our Facebook page
Wait, who’s the heartbreaker??? Not that guy in the video! Hahaha
Rumor has it that this fella almost lost his teeth to his sister hahaha!
Fantastic Video, I recommend this channel!
Much appreciated!
Hey man! We've been diving the beaver area and have found most things to see at the bluff area dive site, is this houseboat at the same location? Or is this off of lost bridge marina boat ramp? We cannot find this boat lol
If your at the Bluffs you walk out on the right side of the old boat ramp and at around 10ft you sound find a line that runs to the Barge
I have a map I can send you if you would like just drop me an email for the request Findingthedive@gmail.com
Luv the music choice
Thank you, I struggle with music selections, with the music I would like to use I really can't fully Ha, Ha!

Man! This just popped up in my feed again today
Always Missing you Bro!
that looks absolutely amazing, do you have any underwater cameras to put in there? (edit) checked the channel and ofc they have underwater cameras
hello yes I do I'll post a video soon!
@@FindingTheDive really cool!
I’m am wondering how did they died?
Thank you for viewing! It has been thought that the water levels thousands of years ago we're natives fell in and drown. 70 percent of the spring has never been explored and a full skeleton was recovered in the 1970s. I am of the thought of sacrifice of some sort.
Bruh back tf up 😂🤦🏾♂️
Cool video and channel! Will sub :)
Thank you!
No prob!@@FindingTheDive
Flashbang transitions are horrible
Thank you for viewing. what would you suggest? I'm always looking for improvement.
