Spearfishing for gag and scamp grouper during the 16 day Gulf of Mexico gag grouper season. Weather was rough with showers all day with 2-4ft seas and the occasional 5-6ft swells made for a slow ride out. Got the wonderful pleasant experience of getting to swim in this gorgeous water with some fun dolphins and curious sharks. I hopped in behind this shrimp boat, hoping to get a chance to spear something good but I enjoyed taking in the scenery and able to capture the incredible sealife on video.

Great day in Texas Gulf freediving and spearfishing with friends Jason and Cade. Teaching and training the next generation to spearfish and freedive. Cade is amazing and getting really good down to 40ft spearing sheepshead for dinner. Water was crystal clear which was a bonus treat for us here in Texas.
