    Why not just take supplemental glutathione to begin with? Or also use milk thistle? Also those b vitamins need to be pre-methylated, or else they won't have as much of an impact.

      if you weight 142 the amount of protein typically recommended is 142/2,2 X 1.2 = 77 grams it is not 77% look on food labels to see how many grams of protein best to consume 2-3tx during day, no all in one meal hope this helps

    Thank you for your excellent video - informative, yet succinct! The dosage recommendations are hugely helpful. Would you kindly comment on whether one can exceed daily recommended amounts if you take a multi-vitamin? I currently don't take a multi-vitamin as I am concerned about getting more of a nutrient than is recommended (i.e., and developing toxicity). Thanks. 😊

      thanks for subscribing yes some vitamins are not meant to be taken in excess. but I recommend taking a good multi vitamin - more as an insurance policy, and also vitamin D and magnesium- here is a tip to make sure for a good multi - most multi-vitamin will not have too excess - too expensive here is what you should look for B- complex- make sure the Folate and B12 is methylated as I explain in my MTHFR video. zinc - 20-25 grams - I don't recommend >50 grams because it competes with absorption of copper and iron Vitamin C - 150-250mg - too much C >-1000mg can contribute to kidneystones - but a really good antioxidant - and for some of my patients with heart disease I recommend 250-500mg vitamin D 2,000-4,000iu - you should ask your doctor for a vitamin D test what i research 50-60ng/ml on test is more preferred than the 30-40 range this may be too low according to what I read. you may need an extra supplement of this - most multi only have 1000iu magnesium 200-400mg - i see this low in a lot of my patients- and most multi may only have 100-150mg - so could do extra for this there are others as well but can get most the time with a whole foods diet - no processing hope this helps

    I think the issues are pretty simple. 1. We live in a generation that does not do much physical work, and we sit a lot more than our ancestors. Our bodies therefore do not consume as much energy, so the rest of what we eat is turned to fat, and typically carbs/sugars which are great for use as energy, get consumed more than what we need. So we have a net intake of calories - especially from carbs and sugars. 2. We also have a relative abundance of food, especially carbs and sugar. Due to science improvements such as fertilizers, carbs and sugar are now so inexpensive. Especially for the poorer segments of society, or those who are uninformed, their diet is predominantly carbs and sugars, with poor attention paid to proteins and high quality fats. 3. Seed Oils - cheap and readily available, and used in cooking and processed food. 4. Processed food which has been denatured, and has tons of preservatives, and far too many ingredients, and artificial "chemicals" added. These things become toxic in the body and overload our ability to clear them out. 5. Pollutants - in the air, plastics, etc., which have an impact on our hormones. 6. Poor Immunity. So many of us live in such sterile environments that we have lost the immune response. I have not seen an ant in my home for maybe 10 years. That's a really sterile kind of place. So I am not exposed as much to viruses and bacteria that would cause my immune system to be "active" and respond. We no longer mix with others as much, and can be physically isolated - working from home, which exposes us to less challenges to our immune system. Many of us do not get much outdoor time, which would also expose us to pathogens that challenge our immune system. A strong immune system helps to reduce inflammation. 7. Poor Quality of food. Our farming methods have depleted the level of minerals, cos the soil itself is depleted. So even when we eat real food, including organic grown food, it is NOT as nutritious as food grown 100 years ago, before the invention of fertilizer. We have a huge population, and feeding that population means that food is grown with only one focus, quantity, NOT quality and density of nutrients. 8. Poor Sleep - Late nights, cos we now have electricity and the internet and television, to keep us awake in the late evenings. Centuries ago, most people would be in bed by 8 pm or 9 pm latest. Now it's normal to get into bed at midnight which is bad. 9. Lack of adequate exercise, cos we do not have to go anywhere. Things can be delivered to us. So the level of compulsory physical exercise is low. 10. Alcohol and drug use has become normal. In Europe and America, far too much use of alcohol and drugs. Far too much, and that includes smoking. 11. Antibiotics which damage the microbiome. 12. NSAIDS, which damage the kidneys - too much dependence on pain killers. 13. Confusion about what to eat, not helped by the confusion on RUclips - Vegan, Vegetarian, Carnivore, Paleo, Ketogenic, This war about diet has become religious, with everyone pitching their options as the ideal. There is consensus about a few things, no matter what you believe. 13.1 Sugar and excessive consumption of carbs is bad 13.2 A decent portion or portions of vegetable and a conservative portion of fruits, is good for us. 13.3 We should drink enough water. 13.4 Extreme diets that completely exclude or minimise certain food groups should only be used short term, as in intervention. OK to use this for dealing with specific issues, but for most people this should be a short term fix. 13.5 Eating too frequently is not the best for us. 13.6. Eating too much is not good for us. 13.7 Eating too late near to bed time, is NOT good for us. 14. Being obese or overweight is NOT good 15. Being sedentary is detrimental. We need regular movement daily and if possible several times a day. 16. Being socially disconnected is not good. 17. Regular health checks, can help detect early warning signs, so we can take corrective action. 18. Metabolically induced health outcomes, can always be improved, by taking evasive action. 19. Fasting of one form or another on a regular basis, is a great hack, to reset any excesses and maintain good health. 20. Get some sunlight and wind in your hair. 21. Live and stop devoting too much time to Social Media.

      Bravo! Nice job - NSAID also destroy gut I teach a course helping people learn what to eat, should be common sense but as you mention a lot of confusing information. bottom line - the macron-nutrients, protein, fat, carbs and fiber when properly balanced regulates the appetite - you end up - eating a lot less! the flood of processed foods - seed oils included - causes dietary imbalances .....we eat more ....get fatter. thanks for subscribing

    I am always intrigued to hear different points of view. Almost four years ago I went on a keto/low carb diet, lost almost half my body weight, and improved pretty much every marker, including reversing pre diabetes, I'm now 44, and in the best health I've ever been in, I now have the odd treat, albeit very sparingly, and that works, in the past I had no capacity to say enough, and I'd argue that is the problem with sugar and carbohydrates, they turn off the ability to say enough. For me, sugar is definitely the major culprit, you eat fat, and your body quickly tells you it's full. Fair to say every single person is different?

  • @ivicamaslaceti5111
    @ivicamaslaceti5111 2 месяца назад

    Abundant FFAs in blood are consequence of fat cells being insulin resistant. In normal person, insulin blocks the release of FFAs in the blood stream. Fat cells are the first cells in the body which become insulin resistant. Ceramides also build up as a consequence of insulin resistance and then accelerate insulin resistance (positive feedback). Everything about this video is missleading, and potentialy harmfull for "ordenary person". If you really want to learn about it, try Ben Bikman. Btw, I could tolerate only first 30 minutes of this nonsense, so I don't know if she mentiones Randle cycle :)

      thanks for your comments - I will work harder to make it more clear, you are correct i struggle with how much information to provide in one stream. My goal was to shed light on excess fatty acids and the ceramides, which I did not discuss type 1.5. I wanted to share with you a comment i sent to another viewer - I also think this is a really good future live stream - thanks so much for your comment ...... thanks for your comment. Yes you are correct testing negative for LADA clears the autoimmune concern concerning beta cell death (beta -cells are cells in pancreas that make insulin) but what I have researched is beta cell death can occur with ceramides, and my understanding is this will not show as an autoimmune disorder. I attached a study for you this is an insert from the study: www.frontiersin.org/journals/endocrinology/articles/10.3389/fendo.2019.00577/full The short-chain fatty acids, same as glucose, enhance insulin secretion, while chronic exposure of pancreatic islet to high concentrations of FFA lead to desensitization and inhibition of insulin release (30) as well as lower insulin gene expression (31). Disproportionate accumulation of FFA in cells of overweight people impairs signaling pathways regulated by diacylglycerol (DAG). Recently, more attention is being paid on DAG because of their suggested role in the initiation of insulin resistance in muscle and liver (32). Ceramides have a detrimental effect on pancreatic β cells, where they activate the stress-induced apoptotic pathway (i.e., cytochrome C release and free radicals production) (33). Other studies I read have also linked the cermide hypothesis to beta cell apoptosis (death) I am cleary not an expert in this area, and have much more to learn regarding how these sphingolipids fats work. I am very clear that excess fatty acids are a culprit for type 2 & 3 diabetes. I have another video you can watch as well- regarding fatty acids and type 2 diabets, although they don't mention cermides or LADA - still my help shed more light on this nutritionfacts.org/video/what-causes-insulin-resistance/ bottomline I advocate eating a balanced diet and I will share more on my live streams, also feel free to come on live with me, I would love to help you any way I can thanks for your comments

If you are interested provide me you email and I will give you access, and I can meet you as well on the live steam for members where you can unmute your microphone and I will answer any questions you have. The reason why many health care professionals recommend low carbs is because it address the glucose and insulin connection in regards to type 2 and type 3 diabetes, which I 100% agree insulin and glucose are big players, but the root cause is excess fatty acids accumulation in non-fat tissue. This induces ceramide synthesis - lipid toxicity - This leads to more release of insulin and build up of glucose in the blood. and why docs recommend reducing the carbs- - but it does not address the root cause of the problem, and why my program helps teach patients how to properly regulate the carbs, - with balancing with the other macronutrients. You can still reduce glucose and insulin - but also add the right amount and variety of carbohydrates. I have read many papers on ceramides and one professor I follow is Dr. Scott Summers he teaches at Utah medical school, he has done extensive research on curing type 2 diabetes. There are also many other papers on the same science. I do not know why other health care professionals are not discussing this? As a registered dietitian I try to look at the biochemistry and studies, Dr. Scott Summers is a biochemist - there are other professors I follow as well I included a link of one of his videos of a class he is doing for students - he discusses ceramides and lipid overload. Thank you so much for subscribing I hope this helps ruclips.net/video/JPUwY4DVqY8/видео.html

    250g of carbs for a diabetic person is The Myrna Method to Die. Balanced Diet is Middle Ground Fallacy of Nutrition.

    • @MyrnaMethod
      @MyrnaMethod Месяц назад

      I would not recommend 250grams of carbs to a diabetic person, this was only the top end of the range, (without exercise) it is based on activity, insulin resistance, diabetes, body fat/excess weight . A diabetic person - low activity - overweight - would have a much lower glycogen capacity (muscle utilization of glucose) than an active person, not over weight or diabetic, A less active, overweight diabetic could have a glycogen capacity lower and be perfect at 35%-40% carbohydrates - (this percentage is based on their ideal body weight, not what they currently weight) ball park - 130-150grams - but they need to eat these carbs balanced with protein and fiber. to give a diabetic a 50-55% carb amount is a disaster! But recommending a 30-40% carb amount to an active person - again a disaster. All the macro nutrients have science behind how much each person should have.
